iphoneunlockuk.com is a very good site,

hi,
i have just unlocked and jailbroken my iphone via this site. at first the site does seam pleasing if you want support whilst going through the procedure. at first i phoned up the onscreen number to actually see if there was someone at the end of the line - there was!! he explained to me what would happen to my phone and he said he would be at the end of the line to answer any questions i had, or any help and support! i started this procedure and all was looking good, during the process i ran in to a few problems, so i called and it was the same guy and he talked me through the problems and got everything sorted for me! i was extremely pleased with the excellent service provided.

with this site you are not paying for the software you are paying for the service-which is excellent!!

i would recommend this site to anyone who believes they need guidance or support when unlocking their iphone.

i thought about unlocking my iphone for free... but then i decided id rather spend the £29.99, and get guidance through the whole process. because i did get stuck a number of times and id rather have someone on the end of the phone to help me, rather then be stuck on my own.

before going through the process i would recommend calling the number on screen just to make sure someone is still there!!

good luck and if you have any questions feel free to reply:)

Sounds like a shill for the scammers.

I love the way the minute someone posts of a good experience they are just pooh pooh'd. People pay us for our support which 99% of the time is excellent. Yes we have built a service around freely available tools - so what? These tools change regularly and necessitate visiting several blogs etc. Most people don't spend every waking hour at macrumors and the like and appreciate having a nicely packaged solution along with a support team and reassurance we provide.

Why can't you live and let live? No need to insult people who appreciate our product either.

It's probably because it's a brand new account which was opened today and the only post made so far is the one in this thread praising your service.

I havent to agree its quite silly paying someone to do something this easy. It literally takes like 20-30 min if you don't know what to do.

Once you figure it out then you push a button and 5 minutes later you're done.

Oh well.

hahahaha, know more about the race condition than me...wheres your fix?

i'm pretty sure i even know how to fix it, but i don't have a device. also causes the reboot loop after reset network settings

There is no problem with this company

Guys,

I have had replies to all the emails I have sent them.

I can hardly ever get through on the phone (in fact haven't to date) but i understand that they probably get hundreds each day! (probably the same questions over and over)

Let them work on the fixes - it must take time, we need to be patient and understand its not easy - otherwise the solutions would already be on the net for us all.

Give em a break! I want my iphone unlocked the same as everyone else and I paid exactly the same!

Moral of the story: the moment you rely on technical help from somebody else you are at their mercy for good or for bad....

You know as well as I that's one very small part of it. There are hoops to jump through. When do I put my sim in? Take out the original? What if wifi stops working? How do I get mobile internet working? Push notifications to work?

And let's not even go down the road when apple release an update.. The naive would accept it and bang. Locked!

We handle all this day in day out, we know more about fixing the wifi race condition than geohot because we have so many devices who this has happened to.

Oh - and what about people in the UAE for whom blackra1n is blacklisted? Well we also provide a VPN.

The list goes on...

F*CK OF!! F*CKING SCAMMER!!!

Why can't you live and let live? No need to insult people who appreciate our product either.

Because you don't have a product, you have service, one that you constantly misrepresent, giving advice that people here share for free.
You are selling programs that you make no mention of actually being free of charge and constantly lying to your customers. From your site;

Always upgrade to latest firmware, with our unique solution
lie
Unlock latest baseband 05.12.01
lie
The iPhone is completely unlocked - every single feature works perfectly, 100%.
lie
Will unlock ANY iPhone (including 3GS) to ANY network worldwide guaranteed - software delivered immediately electronically
lie

and these were the first 4 statements i saw!!!

So please come of your high horse and stop advertising your DIS-SERVICE to the iphone community you dirty dirty scammer.

joysanders, no one is going to believe an account you just created today to try and "sell" your piss-poor excuse for a company.

It's funny that this tread get revived for this crap...

I just thought I'd throw in my 2c...

This website WOULD be fine if they were honest about only offering customer service. What they are doing is a scam because they claim to offer a software solution. They do not.

Jody, if you want to ditch the critisism put all kinds of CLEAR INFORMAITON on your pages that the tools are free and obtained from Dev-Team or Geohotz and provide links to them rather than hosting THEIR binaries on your website.

Then you can CLEARLY post that you are offering CUSTOMER SERVICE and advice and NOT an unlock solution. I doubt even the Dev-Team would take qualms with that. As long as you clearly admit that you are ONLY offering a service.

As we all know, despite it being incredibly easy to jailbreak and unlock an iPhone, many people don't feel comfortable doing it and would still like to pay to get someone on the phone to walk them through. Would I? Know. That's why I came here. But I do think that this form of transparency would turn iphoneunlockuk into a legitimate company.

JS, I hope you make the right decision.

You get what you pay for. If you can't figure it out yourself, either go legit with AT+T or get a different phone other than the iPhone (one your network supports).

Fortunately the MacRumors members seem able to spot a shill - notice all the positive posts are from people with only a single post?

Sure sign of shill or scammer - one post wonders praising the product.

this article on his scam site makes me laugh

EVERYTHING is hackable. The unlock is being finalised by ourselves now – purchase now to receive unlock today. LET EVERYONE KNOW that iPhoneUnlockUK has come to the rescue again for those people running 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07.

the bold bit is clearly false advertising as he's just offering blacksn0w which is FREE and even tells people to purchase FREE software which his company supposidly made.

his website also claims to be able to unlock the latest baseband..... SCAM to get money... I think so

/popcorn

Just tagging this post so I can follow it later.

But seriously it's terrible ethics to pawn off some hard working developers work as your own. You make absolutely no mention of the dev teams work. And to the OP I hope you used some form of secure checkout, I would never want these pinheads to know my credit card number.

A few more sites for you guys, and don't think Paypal will help you out, cos they don't give a sh*t when you get scammed:

PayPal is an eBay company, so unless you get scammed on eBay, they won't be in much of a hurry. Yes, they will be diligent if it was a credit or debit card that you used (it's their money, they just get reimbursed later by your bank). However, using e-checks will land you in world of hurt and wait. Unless, like I said, it was a scam on eBay.

if these one post people are your customers why is it they have not replied and defended your site? ;);)

end of the day your site charges for FREE software unlock you know we all know it so why do you continue to argue the odds? I'm ashamed your a fellow brit the way you rip people off continuously and defend it.

your website clearly says that your "company" comes to the rescue again and made an unlock and you have given not one ounce of credit to the actual people who put the hard work into making the jailbreak programs and unlocks.

I think the biggest way at the minute that you are ripping people off is by clear FALSE ADVERTISING..... there is no unlock for the new baseband thats been released and yet your website claims to unlock both the version 5 basebands.

for the purpose of this arguement:

front313.png

see it says clearly says you can unlock the newest baseband which is complete BS.... you had to wait till geohot released blacksn0w before you were able to unlock the new baseband so what makes you have the unlock for the new 05.12.01 baseband?

plus in order to unlock alot of the newer iPhones on 3.1.3 you need to jailbreak the device..... wait a minute thats not possible either as the newer bootrom iPhone 3Gs cannot be jailbroken  you have a jailbreak for the new firmware on the newer iPhone 3Gs?

come on Jody you cannot come back and tell me I'm wrong on anything i said there its a plain fact that....

1) you rely on dev team and unlockers on the net to get your jailbreak programs and unlocks
2) the newer bootrom cannot be jailbroken at 3.1.3
3) baseband 05.12.01 CANNOT be unlocked
4) there is no one click software for 3.1.3 (you probably offer out redsn0w)

so please do tell how you can advertise on your site such blatant false advertising and take the money off people expecting an unlock for newer baseband and then turn round with nothing and still say your site is legit.

great thread. i love how his customers are not the sort to trawl forums for answers, but they will trawl forums to defend a (scamming) company. most peculiar. all the pointed out lies were conveniently skipped as well.

Well well well more people saying that the positive posts here aren't from genuine people. Its hard to prove or disprove, I agree, but the post count is indicative of our customer base. Our customer base are not the type to trawl forums looking for solutions that change every time apple release an update. They want a one-stop-shop where they get the latest software (by whoever it may be) and our support should they encounter problems.

All you people with lots of posts, of COURSE you are not going to need our service, its clear that you live on the net and you are all experts in your field and you can figure things out for yourself.

Dont insult my customers who come here out of their own free will however and try and put an innocent comment up, as they appreciate the advice we offer. We're not making a million, we're simply a small business helping the few who need our help get their iPhones unlocked and REMAIN unlocked. How many people do you know who have 'accidentally updated'. We email our customers the minute an update is released to ensure they dont 'accidentally' update. We take pride in our service.

But regardless, what's important is my customer base and their opinions, not the views of people who don't have our product and don't need it. You pay your money and you take your choice, we aren't forcing anyone to use us? And we're competing with free, so we must have a value add? You need to put yourself in other people's shoes sometimes.

It's funny that this tread get revived for this crap...

How about you respond to what I said? Not saying your business is bad... you're just going about it dishonestly. Fix your wording and you're fine.

Mr. Sanders - please provide evidence that you can unlock baseband 05.12.01 and jailbreak 3.1.3 on a 3GS without SHSH on file as you claim on your website.

Also? Please explain why you represent yourself as a woman on your website:
