BMW has been known to have these issues for many years. Who is to blame honestly. I am not sure.

Soon cars will have subscriptions to start them and if you don't pay the subscription it'll just be parked up for 30 days until the company tows it away.Maybe the BMW wireless charging subscription expired.
A cleaner look
Car-subscriptions have existed ever since the first lease, and financing is basically rent-to-own.Soon cars will have subscriptions to start them and if you don't pay the subscription it'll just be parked up for 30 days until the company tows it away.
...Here's where someone replies to tell me this already exists.
Finally, an issue that affects Apple’s upper management.
Why I always pay cash!Car-subscriptions have existed ever since the first lease, and financing is basically rent-to-own.
I doubt it. More likely they will say the issue is with the iPhone. Especially if they can prove it works fine with other phones.Would bmw be responsible for the repair costs?
You’d need to place it on the tray if you don’t carry the key fob, and just take your phone, if you don’t have one of the few BMW models that support ultra wideband for CarKey.I never use the charging tray on my BMW as the phone not only gets very hot but charges at a glacial pace. You are supposed to put it in the tray if you use your phone as your key to start it up, so it’s not a trivial issue. (I never do as the actual car key can be in your pocket anyway so never really saw the point of it.)
The wireless charging tray doubles as an NFC reader for Apple CarKey. It’s possible that they don’t want to wireless charge but leave the phone on the tray after placing it there to start the car. What is the point of wireless charging? To save a couple of seconds that it would otherwise take to plug in a wire? Taking that couple of seconds to plug in a wire will save several minutes or even hours because wired charging charges the phone much faster than wireless charging.
My recently new Mazda's pad is next to useless with my XR as well.If other BMW Chargers are as useless as the one in my X5, I'm not surprised. I was excited to have it but after charging in it once or twice, it seems to be better at cooking my phone than charging it. I turned it off and use the space as a holder now.
With it off however, I was able to transfer my keys to my 15 Pro with no more difficulty than the usual multiple try operation I through with previous phones.
