Not every youtuber is in a position where they have a huge audience they can reach out to, and getting to that level of popularity requires a lot of dedication and hard work.
I believe an article was posted less than 1% of those trying to make a career out of YouTube are actually successful supporting a ‘substantial’ income. Plus, expenses for editing software, high-quality cameras, employee expenses and some of the ‘Youtubers’ have a league of people working under them to make all this happen. There’s plenty of overhead required to generate that income.
