Perhaps the car mounts will have stronger magnets on them. Or maybe they'll have a little ledge to give it extra support at the bottom of the phone. I hope they figure this out... since MagSafe charging car mounts are what I'm really excited about!

In contrast... the MagSafe puck was made thin on purpose... thus its magnets aren't very strong. You wouldn't want a big, thick, heavy disc on the back of your phone as you hold it.

I agree. I’m waiting to see what third-parties come up with.

Why can Apple never do colors correctly? It's always faded and ugly. Give us some iPod touch color options for the Pro models.

Still hoping to see the nano chromatic colours again one day....

I think UrAvgConsumer's review is probably representative of how the 12's blue looks under natural light. All the other videos (especially Engadget's) have bright/harsh lighting, or seem to be using a vivid color filter in their header images.

This video makes me feel better about my choice to go with the iPhone 12 in Blue. I do agree that other review videos are probably using bright/harsh lighting.

I like iJustine. She is always in such a good mood.

I don't lol.

She made a surprise visit at a tech conference I was speaking at years ago. My session had the biggest sign up for attendance than any other at the conference. She showed up as a surprise at the conference about 30 mins before my session started. Everyone was so excited and they let her give an impromptu session/talk. Guess where most of the folks went?

No I'm not mad at all after all these years lol. Actually she's good, shes a great reviewer and has great content. I watch her stuff all the time.

If for some reason you're reading this iJustine I truly hold nothing against you. The above is just a joke, well the story actually happened but it was a good experiance to learn to be on my toes and to roll with the punches. It's slightly ironic cause my presentation was on how to stay prominent and stand out in the podcast space. I stopped podcasting a few years later lol. (Life happens).

Who creates value in the world except medical people, missionaries, CEOs, and construction workers? Youtubers entertain, they educate, they do a lot. Not all of them are changing the world, but most people in an office aren’t either.
If they entertained or educated I'd consider them providing value. They don't. They offer zero expertise or information and make substance-less videos and tabloid video posters for ad revenue.

So far I watched about 4 of theses videos. Not one said much about the cases other than the magnetic circle. How about how well do they protect the phone and for real info...does the clear have a lip to protect the phone when face down? Just give us some useful info instead of oh's and awe's please.

I hate the format of these YouTube videos for every new gadget. Impressions / unboxing / actual review. I don’t care what your impressions are or how the thing looks when you take it out of the box, I want to know what the battery life is like compared to last gen and the camera, 5G speeds etc. It’s only 3 days till release, does Apple stop them from giving actual reviews when they have the device already because it might make people cancel their preorders?
Battery life is going to vary greatly based on usage and 5G vs. 5G mmWare. Since 5G isn't widely adopted yet, and there are very few areas that support mmWare (you can be connected to mmWare, but will get dc'd as soon as you cross the street)
