Someone's order just moved closer today, as I cancelled mine this morning.

Had my order confirmation email at 8:04am (UK) on the 10th April. Had no further update since then, no payment taken, still on processing.

Booked an appointment at Dover Street Market in London and got myself a 42mm SS Milanese Loop. I think the SS Link looks amazing but I'm also very happy with my newer choice. Loving the watch so far... Hope everyone's orders starts progressing soon!

I was just thinking, if it takes about 9 hours to complete one link bracelet, how many people would Apple need to mobilize to fulfill say 100,000 orders? Is June even feasible?

This is really depressing me#

Good for you bro! At least you got a watch. Enjoy it!

They don't tell you how many bots are cutting the links, nor when they started them.

It's only been a few days since launch - people will see more progress and updates over the next week.

I think these statements from Apple are very much open to interpretation. As an analogy..... it may take me a couple of hours to bake a batch of 20 cupcakes (including preparing mixture, baking, cooling etc) - so I could legitimately say that a single cupcake takes 2 hours to make - whereas the reality is that I made 20 at the same time.

The same could be said of the link bracelet - which may take 9 hours to make - but a guarantee the vast majority of that time will be in parallel with many more link bracelets also being made (e.g. the steel melting, moulding, cooling etc). It is probably only the 'hand polishing' which will be done on an individual basis - but I bet even that is aided/accelerated by tools.

My pending charge vanished last night. Ordered 42mm SS with link bracelet with email confirmation at XX:02. Funny how reassuring that pending charge was.

My pending charge from 4/22 dropped off my account last night too.

The Pending charge is a pre-authorization hold which is placed on your account by whatever financial institution you paid with when apple checked you card for funds availability. So it falling off was just automatic, doesn't really mean anything.

Mine dropped off as of this morning too. 42mm SS Link ordered at XX:01.

Had an interesting conversation with  support yesterday

I'm like you guys, put and order in at 00:02 for a 42mm Stainless Steel with silver link bracelet and stuck at "Processing items" with a 4-6 weeks delivery date.

I couldn't see anyone in the wild with this model and decided to call  directly. The sales support agent was extremely nice and told me that my order was one of the earliest she had seen for the link bracelet. She also told me she hadn't seen any order go through since the pre-order phase. She didn't outright tell me that none had shipped but instead told me to make my own assumptions.

So on one at  confirming that no link bracelet has actually shipped but based on the conversation I had I'm pretty confident *none* has gone out yet at all!

I have not received the email of death nor has my credit card been charged. No. Activity. At. All. since the pre-order.

I hesitated between the milanese and steel link for a while before ordering and was planning on getting two or three bracelets....Damn should have gotten the milanese. (I'd have something on my wrist right now!)

Let's no give up hope brothers!

I've been following this forum closely as well. I ordered the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Apple Watch with link band. I ordered at :01 with an email confirmation at :02, with a 4-6 week shipping estimate (5/13-5/27). I have had absolutely no activity so far on my order, not even on my black sports band (estimated ship date 4/29-5/13).

My confusion lies in the shipping estimates for the separate SS link bands. This is obviously the most intricate piece of the watch, and most likely the reason for the delay. If you order a SS link band separately, you will get a "May" shipping estimate. So why are the separate link bands shipping earlier than the Watch + link band combo when the bands are what's holding them up? Thoughts anyone?

The dates Apple is giving should be the "worst case scenario" dates. We've seen people with other watches get their dates drawn closer as more product is produced.

Me, I think Apple would have the common sense to ensure the watches WITH the link bracelet ship before any accessory orders for that bracelet - but we'll see.

I'm in exactly the same situation. SS 42 link at 3:02 with confirm email at 3:03. Processing at 4-6 wks. May 13-27. Ordered separate BSB and it is 4/29-5/12. Nothing charged. No EOD.

"May" could very well mean May 31.

I ordered the 42 SS with the leather band. canceled it and reorder it few days ago with the 42 SS and link SS and shipping in June now.
my suggestion to keep the link band the milanese is not good why? my opinion is it's fany one side of the watch has deferent connection than the other but I know why but still it's funny and I believe the the side with the loop will get scratches by the way of use.

The only reason I can think of for for differences in shipping estimates between the watch and band only options is the actual assembly process for the watch. They probably don't make the bracelets in the same place where they assemble them so that requires some transport time as well. It's a lot easier to shove a bracelet in a box than have to assemble and pack the watch preparing it to ship.

Blahhhh. I'm surprised many people haven't called apple to get more info. I don't mind waiting, but to pre order with a date that could be 2 months out...blah

That's because many of us are adults and accepted the 4-6 week delivery when we placed our link bracelet orders. Those who cave in to their second choice just so they can get it a month earlier might regret it for the rest of 11 months or however long until the next refresh.

Truth. Like I said, I don't mind waiting. Just would appreciate some insight on what's going on. To be honest I tried ordering so quickly that I didn't even look at the delivery date. Regardless of that date compromising doesn't seem like a good option.

SS Black Link at 3:02am eastern. New York, NY. Still processing.

I'm new to this thread, has anyone had any of these ship?

Knowing the reason for the delay isn't going to make it come any faster. It's understandable that some may be feeling a bit antsy/jealous now that we're seeing people getting the other models, but it won't help in expediting delivery of the link bracelets.

Blockbuster Virtual launch

I think that these Forums are kind of replicating the experience of being in line for a launch. It's a way for all of us to reinforce and share our excitement about the product. It's been interesting to note that the SS Link purchasers seem to have just as much excitement, but less anger, that some of the other configurations.

We're all in this "Watchboat" together.

That's one thing I've noticed myself. We're all a lot more calm and less whiny than other watch threads. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm anxious as hell but I'm in no way angry or have given up on Apple like others have.
I suppose it's just the fact that we aren't expecting anything sooner than 5/13 (even though I still think Apple will wow us with something earlier).
