Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders

Not sure if this has been posted... Shipping time for link orders (if placed now, bracelet only) has dropped to 2-4 weeks. Perhaps they're starting to catch up, and many will be shipped quicker..... One can hope at least.:confused: Watch orders will hopefully speed up too...
 
My BSB that I ordered with my 42 MM SS Link has just pushed out to even later than originally quoted. Whats up with that???
 
My link bracelet has shipped and is supposed to arrive Monday the 11th. Just in time for my original shipping window April 29th-to may12.
Whoohoo!

Hahahahaha....(did you hear that slight bit of maniacal laughter?) Now I'm just mostly amused at the conundrum that Apple has provided. You can have your Watch and wear it too. If you ordered a link band....it will be delivered. But if you order a Watch with a link band.....you are staring at a blank (sometimes hairy) wrist. And if you criticize the quality of the link band....that isn't adorning your wrist (unless, you ordered the watch with a fluoroelastomeric band and ordered the link band separately), then you are caught up in an argument with the metallurgists and horologists on the forum. There are the fatalists (it will eventually get here), there are the indignant (by god they better ship my Watch NOW!), there are the satisfied (I got mine, f#*$ you) and there are the antagonists (just shut up since you didn't read the fine print carefully enough before you ordered). Apple has provided a way for us to all contribute to this never ending charade of consumerism. Perhaps we should all go back to sundials. What do you think?
 
I ordered 42mm AW LB and extra black sport band on 17/04 and select the option of getting them in single delivery. My dispatched date is june but I received this email from apple today

Did anyone else in the US notice their shipping window dates change from MM/DD to DD/MM?

I could swear that an hour ago it showed:
Delivers: May 13 - 27 by Standard Shipping

Now it shows:
Delivers: 13 May, 2015 - 27 May, 2015 by Standard Shipping

Clearly this doesn't show progress, but someone did something somewhere...

So sad that I'm watching closely enough to notice these things.

Also, I had ordered a BSB separately. Those dates also changed from "May" to "26 May, 2015 - 01 Jun, 2015 by Standard Shipping"

Hahaha.. I agree.. I see that too .. Well at least something changed and look at the bright side .. It will 2015 !! They could have claimed we never said 2015 ...

You are absolutely correct. Mine changed to - I looked at my old screen shot and sure enough, it's different now.

But, alas, it still shows "Processing Items".

Blue Sports Band - Shipping

MacRumors Friends,

I wanted to provide an update. I ordered the Blue Sports Band the same time that I ordered the 42mm Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet. Although the watch hasn't shipped, my Blue Sports Band shipped today.

My original order was on April 10th at 12:03am PDT. So, some movement on inventory but still no change in the watch. :apple:

My green band just shipped too! I can't wait to pretend to wear a watch on my wrist....................

OMG !!! Saw movement !!! Apple finally nailed down the year !!. Now says: "Delivers: 13 May, 2015 - 27 May, 2015 by Standard Shipping", instead of some vague year in oblivion.

Sorry, just had to jump on the no fraking news today bandwagon.

I noticed that to, it caught me off guard. I too feel sad that I am logging on multiple times a day and was shocked when I saw something different ;)

In other news, my shipping date for the extra WSB, Blue leather loop and Brown leather loop bands now have a shipping date of 26 May, 2015 - 01 Jun, 2015, before this afternoon they just stated "May".

However, my Milanese Loop band still has a shipping date of just "June".

Each day we are one day closer........... :D

My BSB did the same. Makes me think we are not seeing our watches till closer to the 27th. Like they will ship it all together.

My Wife has a SS Link coming. Hers says May 13-27, 2015.

I just ordered a Space Black SS and it just says June. NO YEAR.... LOL.
