Am I the only one that keeps refreshing their order status page and get little butterflies in the stomach in hopes the status has changed?

I might just lose my noodle when it finally does change.

This page is going to BLOW up when we start getting order status changes. Today would be a great way to end the work week!!!

I think, judging the way it moved this week (especially here in the UK), the next 'wave' of notifications will start again next Thursday. German thread seems to think so also.

I was hoping for something today too, but I bet this is the pattern it takes.

The waiting continues

My GSB arrives today........ so like many others I will be sporting my new band this weekend with no watch....

As time has gone, I have come to an eerie calm waiting for my new toy. Maybe it's because, like some others, I will be out of town all next week for work or maybe now it has sort of become a game - checking my bank account and the apple order status multiple time a day, keeping up with this thread and seeing everyone's anticipation as much as my own. I don't know, but part of me is going to miss this a little once I do get the watch.

Now don't get me wrong, I want the watch and would be ecstatic if it come today (or whenever), but I will miss this, just a tiny bit.

So my fellow forum members, united we wait - 5 more days until the start of our delivery windows...........

Perhaps you should follow your own advice, as you've done that with me.

I only did that in response to your first negative comment toward my post. Check the previous posts. And, while you're at it review your previous posts to see how many are constructive versus critical of other people's comments. We don't need or appreciate that type of activity here.

I hope for all our sakes, this is NOT the pattern it takes. I can't take much more of this wait.

Come on Apple,,,,you have the link bands now, start sending out our watches. It can't take that long to put a band on the watch, box it up and ship it out. Hopefully we are not going to be held up by a shortage of SS watches now that the bands are becoming available. But it could happen.

Dude, you're the one who started it. I asked why the taptic issues would be a factor and you brushed me off as not knowing jack squat on a flying rock about logistics or mass production of products.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain why the taptic engine issue would affect our receiving the link bracelets but not the other, easier to obtain SS models.

It's clear that you know nothing about logistics or mass production of products. Please take your negativity somewhere else - yes, I've seen some of your other negative comments on here, and we don't need that.

It seems Apple is running out of excuses not to ship our watches (of course, I'm kidding since we all know there is no sinister plot). The next issue we'll read about on on the Apple news website is a box shortage. :D

But, hey - we've waited this long - what's a few more days among friends?

I'm really curious to see how adjustable these bracelets actually are once people start getting them. I wear a Rolex Submariner daily and it comes with both whole links and half links you can swap into the bracelet. Additionally, the new Glide Lock clasp allows for incredibly fine adjustments- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-QrtFo9KzU

The links on the Apple bracelet seem shorter, which makes me wonder if they're all basically the equivalent of a Rolex half link? Maybe?

Looks good. Did you take any links out? Almost looks 1 link too tight

I had actually taken out three links prior to taking the photo, and the bracelet was still a bit too loose. In the end, I took out 5 links. It fits perfectly now, not too tight, but just loose enough that It is comfortable.

And for those wondering, if you like to wear looser bracelets, you can easily wear it without triggering the passcode lockdown.

I won't debate that with you. Just look the numerous negative comments you post here - not just regarding my post, but the many others. Then, you will see why I responded as I did.

I have no patience with people who have a superior attitude and who denigrate other posters.

Hang onto those links - there may be people on here that want to buy them from you. :) (some people have wrists bigger than 8") - I know, as when I did the try-on, it seemed to fit just perfect with all of the links in.

I didn't denigrate but ask for clarification from those who suggested the taptic engine issues were the primary culprit behind our not receiving our link bracelets in a timely manner, until you denigrated me for not knowing anything about logistics or mass production. Sounds like you should be having no patience with yourself.

Move on guys.

Yeah. Tough to tell from pictures. Good to hear about the looser band. I can't stand wearing a watch that cuts off circulation

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the links taper as it gets to the clasp? Does it straighten out closer to the clasp, allowing for people to get other links from other users or maybe buying them direct from apple?

Good to know, I like to wear my watches a little loose and let them have a bit of movement on my wrist. Was curious if that would cause accuracy issues with the heart rate monitor or not.

I didn't thoroughly test the HRM prior to taking out additional links, but I don't think it would be an issue.
