WatchOS 2 Beta 2

Anyone else having trouble with the taptic notification not working? I'll restart the watch and it will work for a little while, but within a few minutes or a few hours it stops tapping me on new notifications. With beta one I had similar problems, but it would last much longer after a restart... hours or even a day or two. With beta two I'm lucky to go an hour before it stops.

I already unpaired the watch and set it up as a new watch, but I'm getting ready to try that again for lack of anything better to do.
I'm actually satisfied how well mine is now working since B1 which was dreadful for me

Brett, the watch has this weird bug in that if you go into settings to adjust sound/taptic at all it starts not working until you re-pair. I just recently re-paired mine on Beta 2 and have not touched any sound/taptic settings and it is continuing to work.

Glad to know this, I'll not start messing as mines perfect up until now

Hmm, interesting. Exactly what shouldn't be touched in the sound/Taptic settings? Can I turn on prominent haptic or mute the sound?

Also, when I repair do I need to set it up as a new watch or can I restore from backup?

I'm going to try to repair and restore from backup now and see how that goes unless I hear otherwise.

I haven't quite figured it our because repairing takes so long but for me it was messing with the intensity of the haptic engine. I set it up as new when I repair.

Yeah, repairing is definitely a pain. I'll go ahead and continue with my restore from backup and see how that goes. If it still seems broken then I'll repair and set it up as new. I'll let you know what I see.

Well its 10:15PM UK time and my watch has only just got to 1% (was off charge at 7:30AM). Now i know in Watch OS 1.0 i would normally have 40-50% left, at least my watch is usable again with public beta 2, and the notifications and alerts seem to be consistently working again. :)

how much usage did it have during this time?

Cool man. Keep us posted.

So far so good. I did the restore and I've been getting taptics on all my notifications. It's only been a few hours, but I think it's lasted longer than I've seen with beta 2 so far. Hopefully it will continue to work.

Did you even touch anything under sounds and haptic settings?

My Watch battery life has been great today with beta 2. Took it off the charger today at about 10:30 AM and now I still have 60% at 10:00 PM.

Took the plunge after avoiding beta 1. Glad I waited! I had a couple small bugs to deal with (contacts/weather) but fixed those up and I'm honestly not seeing a big difference to 1.01
Sure a little laggy here and there but nothing I mind. Installation was a little slow thou.
I wouldnt install this if your super crazy about missing the odd notification. I'm sure this isn't perfect just yet. But I wanted to play with timelapse and the ability to reply to emails is just awesome!

It will. Just don't touch settings ;)

Battery life in beta 2 is horrible. beta 1 at least got be through the day... today is the first time I'll have to switch to Power Reserve mode.

Seriously? I had never sniffed power reserve until Beta 1 and thankfully Beta 2 fixed that again

I've barely used the watch today, and it's 3PM and I'm at 49%. This is with WatchOS beta 2. It's terrible still. Under 1.01, I would end my work day with over 70%. I also CONSTANTLY see a -- for the temperature, and when I click it, it says I'm in the South Atlantic Ocean.
I'm pretty sure it's the weather complications that are draining the battery. Without one the battery lasts forever.
