WatchOS 2 Beta 2

Battery life in beta 2 is horrible. beta 1 at least got be through the day... today is the first time I'll have to switch to Power Reserve mode.
Total opposite to me. Beta 1 drained my battery in record time. Beta 2 is much better.

Weird, my watch has been off the charger and on my wrist for at least 7 hours now and I'm at 78% battery still.

I had terrible battery life with beta 1 for the first two days... And one odd day last week. Otherwise I had no problem making it through a day with beta 1. Battery life wasn't as good as 1.01 though. I dunno what was different about those three days. Beta 2 doesn't seem great. I didn't make it through the day yesterday and I'm at 39% now with about 6 or 7 hours left in my day, so I'm not sure I'll make it. Hopefully it will improve for me like beta 1 did.

I've barely used the watch today, and it's 3PM and I'm at 49%. This is with WatchOS beta 2. It's terrible still. Under 1.01, I would end my work day with over 70%. I also CONSTANTLY see a -- for the temperature, and when I click it, it says I'm in the South Atlantic Ocean.

Did anybody skip beta 1, and just install beta 2?

for anyone that care to take the time to elaborate does anybody know why some are having issues with beta1 and not beta 2 and vice versa as far as battery life is concerned?

I've had my B2 watch on wrist for 7 hours today - started at 100% and am now at 65% with typical use. In my experience, the power sipping is better than B1...

If it's any consolation my apple watch is on 1.01 and I've had mine on since 5 am local time...it's now 2:45 and I still have 73% left with heavy usage...hopefully when they release 2.0 in the fall that they will have all the bugs worked out because i'm getting great battery life out of mine!

Usage: 4 hours
Standby: 10 hours

Battery: 67%

No battery issues here at all, and I have the weather complication

Anybody else having bluetooth connection issues with Bluetooth headphones? Work great paired with my iPhone 6+ but on my Apple Watch it constantly cuts out on workouts and makes them unbearable to use...

That sounds like the bug from OS 1.0/1.0.1. I don't know what the deal is but a workaround is turning Bluetooth off on the phone.

How is the call volume when running Beta 2?
I took a call earlier and the call was a bit quiet and distorted. I wasn't sure whether it was the fault of the watch or my phone and I can't remember what it was like in 1.0.1 though so I can't really compare it to anything.

Haven't tried headphones but my Polar H7 won't keep connection for my workouts on beta 2. worked fine on 1.0 and 1.0.1

I was actually having issues with my bluetooth headphones while connected to my iPhone (running iOS 9 b2) yesterday, my Watch was also connected.

My battery life with Watch OS b2 seems to be worse than b1, for only the second time with normal use it died yesterday before I went to bed. It was at about 50% when I got off work, then I went for an hour bike ride, which really did it in. Honestly, if I would stop checking the battery every 5 minutes it'd probably get better life. :)

Well the weather didn't seem to change things any. I'm down to 79% after 90 minutes. I'm on beta 2.

Strange, after 2 hours I'm still at 98%. Do you have any apps installed? Maybe one of those is trying to constantly connect in the background causing battery drain

Good thought. I will remove all third party apps again. I've been off charger for just shy of 3 hours and I'm at 63%. And I haven't really used it at all.

Is there any downside at this point to installing WatchOS Beta 2?

And I'm on a developer account that expires in the near future. What will happen to my watch since I'll no longer be a developer but can't roll back watchOS? My iPhone is also on 9 beta 2 and is expiring as well.
