Have got the confit file.
Emailed to myself to open on the phone and install on watch
It restarts and is still on 1.01

:(

I've just started playing around with it and it's noticeably faster with apps and generally smoother. Instagram and Twitter for instance loads way faster. Like iPhone speeds (for twitter) less so for instagram

HOWEVER, there's an obvious weather bug that's causing it to not load and maps can't seem to find current locations. Almost seems like camera shutter app doesn't work either

There are neat little UI tweaks

EDIT: Weather and Camera apps finally loaded and now work fine. Still haven't trouble with current location. Weather glance is working with just first weather location but not maps glance and the weather complication is just giving me a wrong temperature

EDIT 2: the time-lapse face seems to be doing some crazy stuff where it's blasting through the entire day in a few seconds

EDIT 3: Heartrate readings (the manual ones) are much faster

EDIT 4: Siri is kind of a jumbled mess and works okay but may get faster like with previous stuff. New UI and still no location service which is so strange since my phone is fine. And contacts show up only as phone numbers not the name for messages.

EDIT 5: Maps location service works if I input a destination but the arrow button and glances still fail. So can't do sunset/sunrise complication either. Siri is faster though

EDIT: I've managed to get the complications working but the temperature is just off by 8 degrees and it's different for some faces? But it is definitely the correct city. Also sunrise/sunset is off by a minute? So weird.

Does night stand reconfigure in portrait orientation or does it only display landscape view? Cheers!

Word of warning for anyone thinking about installing this, watchOS 2.0 beta 1 is horrifically, awfully, mercilessly unstable and buggy. Everything from location services to Siri to notifications to iCloud is either totally broken or barely working.

Yes, unpairing and repairing helps. But not a lot.

Really? I didn't have to repair at all.

You might want to. I had an issue in 1.01 with weather that sounds a lot like what you're seeing. After trying everything else, I finally re-paired and that's what fixed it.

Well, it IS a first release in closed beta, so that's not terribly surprising.

Beware of this happening after you make the jump to watchOS 2

The weather bug is not too big of a pain in the butt and I'd rather just wait for the next beta than have to re-pair it all and hope it works. I would hate to go through all that work for nothing

Remember that this is beta 1. If you're concerned about this, then you might want to pass for now because there will be lots of annoying issues with the beta. They'll get them all ironed out before they release it.
Oh I know... I usually always install every beta (it's hard not to when they're right there, haha) and never have any problems. I'm usually fine with a few bugs here and there, I just don't like having to redo all of my stuff (settings, apps, etc). I never set up as new - always restore from backup, from iPhone 4 to 5 to 5s to 6. It's just so convenient and never causes any issues (at least for me).

When I open the os2 configuration file on myIOS9 iphone6 plus, it just opens the file as a text file. Tried emailing the file, adding to drop box and the iCloud with the same results. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I'm thinking about trying to find a way to downgrade. My haptic engine just stopped working

Did you manage to get it working again ? I've got the same issue however found that if I go into the haptic section of the settings app the haptic worked sometimes when set to half way but not at full then at full but not halfway think the haptic control's messed up in this beta.

Can someone try: if you delete the profile and then go to software update.
Would that make the phone/watch look for the old software again?

My experience contrasts with yours entirely. Runs smooth and from what I can see everything works.

I assume you are just trying to scare others because imo there has most definetly been worse betas.

I believe it's just a matter of time before someone makes a cable for the hidden port on the Watch so that maybe it can be connected to iTunes via USB and then we could restore manually..

I love the new timelapse clockface, I wish there was an option to put complications on them though, likewise with the photo album watch face.

Has anybody figured out how to revert back to watchOS 1.1 yet?

You try restoring the last backup? Not sure if the OS updates work the same way or whether it would restore the OS as well.
