How long does it take to download WatchOS 26? My watch has been downloading now for 3 hours and it still remains saying 1 hour (been like this since the start.
 
You can try to restart the full process.
Try resetting your router or get closer to it
Thanks guys… appreciate the advice. I did try rebooting both the iPhone & watch but still have the same issue.
The router is fine. I checked the download whilst it was downloading to the watch and I was still receiving over 500mbps with another app.
I even tried turning off Bluetooth so the watch only used wifi. Still the same.

Darn it dude. Can you try doing it on different WiFi networks? Sometimes when I do it on school networks it’s slower so I do all my updates on my Apple devices at home

Not really goldmac. Only access to my home wifi but that is fast as it is. Later when I have a bit more free time I’ll try on the watch app General/Storage and delete the watchOS 26 file then start again.

Great approach to try. Lmk if that alleviates the issue I heard some people did that too.
