Y’all updating to watchOS 26.1 beta 4? It’s out but I don’t see anything new. They should let us disable Liquid Glass like the iOS counterparts do.

Yeh I updated eagerly last night as I thought the clear / tinted mode would be there but no, I hope they include it ?
Same here I thought it would have it.
Atm, we will have to rely on increase contrast first.
True. I don’t see anything unlike that in iOS 26.1 beta 4 that in watchOS beta 4 26.1 release notes saying it’ll have the Liquid Glass settings.

Anyone else seeing worse battery life than the previous beta? I feel like it’s been especially bad since the update.
I noticed that. I had a day last week where I witness the battery draining in less than a few hours.

Today my watch didn’t get charged in the morning before I worked out, I had charged it to 80% after my workout and during a long school day it went all the way down to 25% from 10:15 am to 5 pm

can someone tell me if they’ve fixed the horrendous 26.0.2 bug where the podcasts app episode timer doesn’t run anymore once you fast forward or rewind in the episode?

Anyone else notice Shazam in the Smart Stack doesn’t work in the 26.1 beta? Didn’t work on beta 4 or the release candidate for me. When you press it the microphone symbol comes up but it just doesn’t do anything. Shazam app itself works fine it just doesn’t seem to launch from the Smart Stack.

It works for me on beta 3 and 4. I typically do 1-2 hard reboots afterwards that typically works out the bugs.

Battery life is still brutal on my Series 10. Sleep tracking caused 40% battery loss. Saw my feedback has 10+ cases noted with it so hopefully they fix it with 26.2.

Same after updating to 26.1 RC it went down from 95% to 50% overnight

Anyone else receiving texts on their Apple Watch and having the issue of not being able to tap "DISMISS" and have the message go away? This was also an issue in Beta 2 for me. I reported it via Feedback in Beta 2, also reported again today. I have an Apple Watch Ultra, if that matters. Thanks!
Has anyone confirmed whether this is fixed in the RC? Specifically swiping down on a message notification to mark it as read.

I typically don't install betas on Apple Watch since there's no way to roll back, but I'd try it if it finally fixes this.

Very odd workout problem in that indoor rowing workout does not record heart rate at all. All other workouts are fine. This has been consistent through the 26.1 beta, and is also happening exactly the same way on 26.1 RC. I have reported it to Apple. Anyone else got this?

My HR reporting has been spaced out since the 26.1 beta 1.

Also noticed sometimes my workout app crashes in long workouts like runs

Okay so last night I installed public release of 26.1 and went to bed some time after. This morning I see watch stopped taking measurements at 3:50, no tracked sleep and no measures heart rate until 6:33
