Health is 90%, no battery issues.

Also, it is not a full restart of the watch, is very much like a springboard crash/restart on an iPhone. This started with beta 2.
Funny that was happening to me in 26.1, and main reason I decided to install 26.2 beta. So far haven’t seen it it beta 2, fingers crossed.

I don’t have any of that issue. And it seems like both of y’all wear Apple Watch Ultra so it’s only an ultra thing. You had 26.1 beta or public release prior to 26.2 beta?

Had you file feedback on it? Feel free to do so.

26.1 public. May be ultra related, it happens with the waypoint face

Oh, I see why that would be frustrating! I hope Apple Watch Ultra Faces doesn’t have that same glitch that caused Apple Watch Hermes users so much trouble with Hermes watch faces. I remember when all the Hermes beta testers joined my thread back in the summer, they were trying everything to help their watches cool down and not crash, even one that put their Apple Watch Series 9 Hermes in an ice bath!

Just head the “respring” in 26.2 Beta 2 for the first time since 26.1. I am curious, which face are you using? I am using the new Waypoint, so wonder if it’s an issue with that particular watch face.

Modular Ultra

Also, thanks for using the word “respring”, that is what I needed to say but wouldn’t come to me.

Had both of you guys filed feedback on this issue? I still believe it’s an Apple Watch Ultra only thing since you guys only had ultra faces on your watches.

Not, it worked perfectly.

Same thing happened this morning, resting heart rate taken at 6:42, but I woke up at 8
Did you properly wear your Apple Watch?

I think I might have figured out what is triggering it, at least in my situation. If I tap too high on the clear all button in the notifications pane, it seems to trigger it. If I hit the clear all button in the center it doesn’t occur.
Interesting. This morning when it happened I was clearing all my notifications from last night. I’ll keep an eye for that scenario.

You’re spot on! I clicked above the clear all button, immediate respring. Reported showing video reproduction. FB21055836.

Seems like Liquid Glass doesn’t play well with Apple Watch Ultra faces.

Any non ultra users have this issue with regular faces?

Small correction: it happens with an ultra regardless of the face being used. I tested my wife’s series 9 and it doesn’t seem to be affected.

Still on an Apple Watch Ultra though so that means it’s still an Apple Watch Ultra only issue.

Will have 26.2b3 loaded soon and will report back.

I can’t reproduce it any longer in beta 3

Neither can I. Hopefully that means this one is resolved.

Only one AW annoyance remains for me, and that is swiping down on a message notification does not mark it read like earlier versions of watchOS, you have to either tap dismiss or go into the messages app and look at it there.

Great news that it’s fixed in iOS 26.2 beta 3! Please spread the word in the comments of the thread where we talked about this issue so any Apple Watch Ultra users who are affected can do the same. Thanks for checking in!

Can anyone tell me how do I delete Multisport as option from Workouts? I tried everything and it's still there, but only on my watch, not on iPhone. They're both on 26.2 beta 3

I wrote already about resting heart rate during sleep, but there seems to be a general problem with it.
I looked at my Health app after a workout and the discrepancy is laughable. It's pulling number out of its ass! During the last week or two it shows me some measures at times that there is no way in hell my heart rate was 55 or anything close to it.

Yes, I do clean my watch daily and wash my hands regularly, it's not a sensor problem.

On the new interface of the workout app:
Use the Digital Crown to scroll all the way to the plus button at the bottom of the workout modes.

On Edit your Workouts you see a list of workouts you commonly track on your Apple Watch. Find multi sport on there.

You swipe right on it and delete it by tapping on the red x ❌ button.

Seems like a bug. Can you do a hard restart on your Apple Watch?

Wow, thank you!!! That was not intuitive AT ALL. The problem was that it only showed on my watch and not in a million years would I try to swipe on a... plus button...

I'm gonna wait for a public release and see if they fix it by then before resetting it.

Lmk how it goes. And of course the Apple Watch workout appears based on which ones you do more frequently including on third party apps.

How is beta 3 on the Ultra. I am on 26.1 and have bugs with apps crashing (messages, workouts) and I wonder if beta 3 resolves those.

I love beta 3! My Ultra has been great. I got off of 26.1 as fast as I could.
