I haven't had a bug on any of the 26.2 betas. Battery life on 26.1 was bad. On the betas it is really good. I charge my watch every other day. On 26.1 I had to charge it daily.

any bugs in your experience? how is battery life?
So y’all think watchOS 26.2 beta 3 battery life is better than 26.1 public release? Both of you guys wear ultras so anyone with regular Apple Watches can tell me more about it?

If so I’m gonna do the update on my Apple Watch Series 6.

FYI no beta releases as of now. Last week was skipped as Apple’s beta team was closed for Thanksgiving and they left a note in feedback assistant about it.

With 26.1 saving running workouts takes ages and sometimes never finishes on custom interval workouts. I have a feeling that the bug that was in 26.0 betas where workouts could not be ended is partially back.

Didn’t even know that was possible. It took forever for me too on a brand new Ultra 3
I had an estimate of 5 hours to download the 26.2 RC to my Ultra 2. I shut off Bluetooth on my watch so that Wi-Fi would be used, and the estimate changed to 6 minutes. And that's roughly what it took.

I learnt that tip from another Apple Watch Ultra user in an watchOS 26 beta update release notes thread. Y’all can use the WiFi on your watch instead of iPhone connectivity!

Since I'm planning to unpair and restore my watch from backup as soon as 26.2 public is out, can anyone tell me roughly how long will it take?
I have a good fiber connection, but if it mostly relies on Bluetooth like for updates...

depending on how many files your AW has, internet speed and iCloud backup takes it can take from 15-30 mins

Thank you! Not too many things or apps on my watch, mostly just health and fitness data. Backups only take a minute.
My watch just started hallucinating heart rate readings and I wasn't too brave to attempt to reset in in a beta cycle so I waited for a public release.

I’m still on watchOS 26.1 public release, and I don’t anticipate any major changes in 26.2 RC.

My iPhone 15 Pro is running iOS 26.2 RC because the battery life is better than the public release of 26.1.

For you, if you don’t have too much downloaded Apple Music and only have photos and fitness data, the entire process should take about 20 minutes.

Your iPhone might not be usable during the process for some parts, so you could have a book ready or do something on your Mac.

Battery life on my AWU1 much worse on 26.2 RC than what it was on 26.1
Thanks god I didn’t update to that on my Apple Watch Series 6. A lot of battery life complaints on that build.

I unpaired it and paired again yesterday, it continues hallucinating 50bpm of resting heart rate even though I get that bpm only while sleeping
Same original issue?!
