Thanks god I didn’t update to that on my Apple Watch Series 6. A lot of battery life complaints on that build.

...
You can go back in this topic, and in all watchOS 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 ... topics
You will find lot of complaints about battery life on version x or y

Yeah, pretty much. After unpairing I went and deleted data points from like a month back since that's roughly when it started, but it first resurrected deleted results from a few days back, then started behaving like before. I'm just gonna ignore that section of Health.
weird. and still not related to wearing your Apple Watch band properly, cleaning the back of it regularly and/or being awake in middle of the night while sleep tracking?

Not sure what happened but 26.2 RC is now tanking my S11 again. Frustrating. On 26.1, 7 hours of sleep tracking dropped the watch from 100 to 95%; now I’m down to 87%. Removed all third party apps and hard rebooted both phone and watch but still an ongoing issue.

My old Timex watch had a battery life of two years. Still not going back to it. ;)
Once you experience the Apple Watch Ultra, you might find traditional watches and Garmin just don’t cut it anymore!

Also, the public release of watchOS 26.2 is here! Download it now! I downloaded and installed it on my Apple Watch with Bluetooth turned off and only on WiFi, which was a better approach with the 30-minute to 1-hour installation time versus the 3-6 hours! Big thanks to @jz0309 for the helpful tip he shared in the watchOS update thread weeks ago.

I was wearing it exactly as I always wore it, literally no change.
I tried changing tightness last night and moved one hole up, which was slightly tight but it produced the same result and measured resting HR while sleeping. RHR measures around 6, but I got up almost at 8.

Really true. Was a loyal Garmin customer for about a decade and always bought their top notch product. Technologically they are closer to my old Timex watches. With one difference: they have tons of bugs, my Timex worked like a charm, never crashed. ;)

And no interruptions to your sleep? Bruh that’s crazy. Even on 26.2 public release?

Hey everyone, I had finals, so this thread has been a bit quiet. Now that it’s Christmas break, I was wondering if anyone has the 26.3 watchOS and iOS betas? If you do, I’d love to hear how it’s going!

Hey EU Apple Watch users! Before you update your Apple Watch to watchOS 26.2, here’s a heads-up: it might take away a big feature because of EU regulations.

If you want your watch to keep connecting to WiFi in European countries (🇪🇺) or if you never set up cellular on your watch, it’s best to stick with watchOS 26.1. Or even better, no betas.

EU user here. This „feature removal“ turned out to be not noticeable. Wifi is still working fine at home and at hotspots.

Yea this was actually an internal note regarding the compliance of the regulations of the DMA. The WiFi feature will work its just that some parts will work a bit differently than other countries

If I understand correctly, the change concerns only newly added Wifi connections; the old ones still work. For new ones you have to put in the password manually once.

Correct. It doesn’t take out the entire feature.

Anyone else's Vitals graph make absolutely no sense? Both green marked values are 50, yet the newer one is showed higher. Even second one from the right is above the line and it's 49BPM. Why show us graph when it can't tell me anything?

I do have that issue. If I sleep in a few nights it would say that it has an outlier when I sleep.

I am on iOS 26.2 and watchOS 26.2 public release. You?
