Now, obviously, we are still in the beta phase, but incredibly close to the full public release. It’s going to be very interesting to see how Apple sell Siri AI on the current watches that support it, because it is absolutely awful. A terrible experience all round with regard to speed. Watch this space…
I'm not on the beta but been watching this thread. Mostly about Siri AI and it seems mostly not positive comments, while it is beta, as you say, we're very close to the final.
Personally I have no use for Siri AI, on none of my devices so I've been thinking to hold off on upgrading to 27 for as long as possible, as in many months. Just seems that everything Apple is focusing on in 27 is Siri AI ...
Only thing that will change my position is if, big if, I get an Ultra 4.

Thanks all for testing and hope it'll all get better with the next/final release.

I hope it gets better but currently for me its fine and 1000x better than Siri on iOS26 - for general knowledge stuff and messages its perfectly good already but ironing / tweaking /speeding up before final release is very welcome.

I find the new 7 icon short menu screen annoying.
- it’s another screen to tap through most of the time
- it doesn’t have my most used apps
- it removed the easy way to close down a stalled app

I wish I could just turn the annoying feature off

It would be better if they let you pin your own ones there or even shortcuts as currently I have a shortcut for the action button to turn on or off the always-on display with just one press of it.

Siri on the latest watchOS beta is WAY better than earlier. Starting timers or opening the garage door now happens after only 2-3 seconds 😀
