How about the reverse- Can you move to the WatchOS 4 beta without being on iOS 11?

Let me guess, you can't downgrade from watchOS 4 back to 3 right? I want to go back to iOS 10 on my phone but I have a feeling I am now stuck.

Let me know how that works out for you... I’m running 11 on my iPhone but am always a little hesitant on the watch since you have to send it in to Apple to get downgraded.

So far so good. Long install, but seems to be working well. No Toy Story faces as mentioned above, but the Siri face and kaleidoscope faces are kind of cool. Particularly the kaleidoscope, which allows you to use their provided images or your own images and and customize a few aspects of how it appears. It makes for an evolving and organic looking watch face.

Uploading OS4 to my series 0 now. I want to see how it runs on that as compared to the series 2.

This Watch Beta seems pretty good. I haven’t had a single issue with it. Much less buggy than the iPhone or iPad. The fact that you use mainly the stock Apple apps mitigates the risk somewhat.

I love how Workouts allows you to get to your music by raising your wrist and swiping to the left. Especially now that AirPods don’t have volume control.

I don’t like how you can no longer delete a workout now. You know how when you were done with a workout before you could either save or delete? Now, when you hit the X it just ends the workout and there is no longer an option to delete. If there is, someone please tell me where it is.

I bet they change this. I noticed it also.

You can delete inside the Activity app.

Anyone get Interval workouts to work. So far you can only set one goal. No repeats or recovery period. No different than a goal-oriented workout at this point. Lame.

Bummer that you need iOS 11 on your phone for WatchOS4. Based on what I see with my iPad with iOS 11 there's no way I'm installing 11 on my phone until at least the 2nd or 3rd beta.

I actually didn't like how they asked this after every single workout. A Watch isn't the place for complexity. I want to stop the workout and be done with it. The less time I have to keep my wrist raised and the fewer taps, the better the experience is on a Watch.

3 hours to download and about another hour to install :/

Seems ok; battery life is so-so. Features are ok, but am now wowed by the release.

Hey, if you don't mind checking...does the Music Complication work for you? Mine (watchOS 3) seems to not be working with iOS 11 on my 7+. Thanks SD!

you can... you just have to send your watch into Apple and they will do it for free. Takes a few days. They had the same policy in place during the WatchOS 3 betas.

It seems to work very well. I am not sure if I was just missing some of these features that already existed, but weren't as easy to find, or if the features are new, but I really like the "now playing" that allows me to switch back and forth between my Apple Music on the watch or Spotify on the phone. Also the playlists such as "My New Music Mix," "My Favorites Mix," Purchased," Top 25 Most Played," etc.

AirPods can now play from phone to watch without reconnecting, seamlessly. Pretty sure this didn't work right before but been many months and might be wrong.

I have a question about the Siri watchface... it keeps showing a picture and I want to change it. How do I do that?

I'm dying to do this as my Dexcom glucose sensor will be able to communicate directly with Apple Watch instead of using iPhone as a pass through, but there is no guarantee that it would work at this point correct?
I want to know the answer to this question too. I know there are not a lot of Dexcom users out there, but there are supposed to be other connectable devices. OS4 is supposed to allow direct Bluetooth communication. I am not interested in doing the Beta iOS11 and Beta wOS4 unless this is functioning. Can anyone comment?

@galenmd - unfortunately I think the only way to find out is to install the beta, but I am unwilling to do that given how integrated my watch has become in my daily diabetic life. I can't afford to install the beta and have my Dexcom functionality go away and not have the option to revert back to fix it. Guess we will have to just wait and see.
