"We Have an iPhone reserved for you"

Got one of these somehow, but the picture shows a Gold iPhone 6 when I wanted Space Gray. Do we get the option to choose the color and size when we get the email?

Probably a petty thing to worry about, but here I am.

I bought two, one silver and one gold. Both pictures were accurate. You sure you selected space gray?
 
so do i keep trying to order or trust that reservation?

and did it hold my place in the queue so it will be 7-10 days or whatever it is at the time they get back to me?

Mhmm. I'd load the Apple Store app on my iPhone and continually. Go through the process (kept saying the phone was unavailable) and back out. Probably did this 200 times until I randomly got the popup.
 
I got the same message. Wonder if the first part of the number means anything? Both of mine start with 301... Ordered at the same time and had 9/19 delivery date
 
I got it for sprint. Went on the status website and my reservation number says they are trying to contact the carrier. This will probably not work for me since I don't have an upgrade available. I want to pay full price for my phone.

When I did it I had the "delivers 9/19" so one can dream right?
 
Still no email. Thinking I should just go to sleep and i will have the email in the morning, but.......I don't know.
 
Does anybody know if we can keep trying to get another phone? Or will it recognize that we have one "reserved?"
 
Glad I took a screenshot of that reservation number, because it wasn't linked to my apple account.

What a pain in the ass!!! 😡
 
If you got one of these, do you think they will let you choose a different phone number to use the upgrade on?

Like it doesnt ask for phone number when checking the reservation. I want to upgrade a different line than the reserved one.

Wondering the same. I don't see why they wouldn't but you never know!
 
i was ignoring the phone and typing here... looked down and it had continued the process!

i just finished the order for hubby's phone. says delivery in 7-10 days.

phew

still majorly PISSED that i'm not getting it release day... but at least both are ordered and i can go back to bed! gotta get back up in 2 hours!
 
Unfortunately, this seems like a "Back of the Line" pass.

While I got that message after selecting everything, my wife got that message before she even selected a phone. So what exactly can they be holding for her?

Its Apple so I fully trust that they are trying to be honest here, but my guess is that when (IF?) the email comes then it will involve calling a salesman who will put you in the back of the queue. And that will suck.

I used the link and confirmed my reservation is there - did it twice to be sure. Still annoyed that I was first on and couldn't get what I wanted (gold, 64, plus). And now I'm just hoping I'll get any color on the 17th since that is what it showed when I "ordered" (as far as it would let me go).

what numbers did ur reservation start with, i was 201
