I am also 501. Delivery date was 9/19 when I ordered. Received my email 5 minutes ago and I can now check the status at buyiphone.apple.com/status It just says the same thing as the email does.
 
I am able to log in and check now but all it says is

You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order. If you do not complete your purchase within 24 hours, your reservation will be canceled.

You may check the status of your reservation at any time by returning to this page.
 
I'm tempted to buy it again from the website & store pickup 9/19 but I'll just wait this out and see if we get screwed over or not.

i've tried that. it goes all the way up to "add to cart" and then says "your account is in a market not supported for upgrade" so it seems like it blocks the phone number if you're already reserved. It still says delivers 9/19 though, so i'm guessing they still haven't run out of 9/19 inventory

On certain models it's showing me 9/19 still. All 7-10 days for 6 plus though.

That's weird. I was able to add to cart and go all the way to check out. Not sure if i should hit order or wait :)

People ordering now (at least the plus) are getting Oct 1-6 deliveries. And that will push as the hours go by. I was able to buy once I got through via Chrome even though I had a res.

i did not want to trust that all would go perfectly and Apple would be holding my phone for a 19th delivery.
 
Pre-ordered with AT&T NEXT to my local store. Got a confirmation number but every time I'd try to check it the site said they didn't have the reservation.

So... I ordered a 6+ for 7-10 day delivery. This time it said NEXT is NOT able to be picked up at the store from pre-orders (?!?) so that's why I chose the slow delivery time.

Then... I got emails for both confirmation numbers.

So confused.. not sure what to do. Maybe I'll camp AT&T and sort it out. Want a 6 Plus on launch day. :(

I tried to order 2 Iphone 6's, and got 2 reservation numbers. I got the reservation emails too, and I was able to check the statuses. I tried to check the statuses like 15 min later, and now I get this message, "We’re sorry. We can’t find your reservation. Please verify your information and try again."
 
Did anyone else get this email? I'm worried it's not legit and I may have exposed my Apple ID and password.

When I first got the reservation code the status site worked for me (saw my reservation). Then a little bit later it didn't work. Then it did work. Their systems are just not handling things so well. I'm trying to have faith that by receiving the email I am in the system, but only time will tell...
 
I wish I could stay up that long I am off to bed. Hopefully I will wake up and find some good news. Other wise it looks like I am off to stand in line come the 19th :mad:
 
I've called apple sales 3 times, and they couldn't tell me anything, couldn't let me speak with a supervisor about it, or have anyone call me back. They told me to call customer service about it at 8. Problem is, I'll be at work then

I also have 2 of these emails. I may go to AT&T this morning to preorder. I would love to know if these will lock up a phone for launch day.
 
I was lucky enough to get my order through this morning. I did it through the apple store on my phone. I just got an email saying I have a phone reserved but I already placed my order. Is this what is happening with others?

for those asking my number on my reservation... i don't remember and i can't access where you check? it just takes me to the store, that happens to be open now!

i also never got an email confirming any such reservation. glad i stuck it out to attempt to get one ordered.

i'm angry at apple (along with most everyone else). their preorders are always so horrid!! i don't think i've ever been in one smooth one, yet! not ONE!

but at least in the past "I" have always gotten MY phone on release day. (hubby wasn't so lucky last time).

i found them saying the plus was available to preorder deceptive in that they NEVER SAID WE WOULDN'T GET THEM ON RELEASE DAY!

at least with the original mini release we went in eyes wide open because they told us that the LTE versions were coming later.

what makes it worse with non release day delivery.. they have no sense of urgency... no overnight to get it here FAST!

whatever apple.... you suck but i want the effing phone.... so i wait...

mad and tired
 
I got the e-mail, and when I go to check the status of the reservation, it says it can't be found. Needless to say, I'm going to be pissed if there's no reservation.
