"We Have an iPhone reserved for you"

I just got my email saying I can proceed with my order.

B101 - but I show 7-10 days for shipping estimate. no 9/19 guarantee.

6+ - Space Grey - AT&T - 64GB
 
Anyone else get this message?

Got the message last night at 1:30 am pdt. Reservation number started with B201. Received the email that a phone was reserved for me but nothing more. Just a few minutes ago, I opened the Apple app on my iPad and started the order process all over again. To my surprise it went through the process without issues and ordered a iP6 with 64 gb on ATT. Delivery shows 9/19 :)

Now I'm wondering if the reservation and my new order are linked.
 
Bad news if you're in this with sprint and have the family plan. It won't work.

I got my 2nd email. Went to pay, got the apple does not support your plan blah blah blah.

Now what?

I'm wondering if I can call sprint and change my plan to something different for like a second, if apple will allow it to be eligible? I have until tmrw morning to pay and I do have it as a 19th delivery (hopefully)

I was afraid of that, sprint sucks man, they punish us (in a way) because of their easy pay?
I don't get it; they changed their plans after the announcement
 
Whoever got that email, where did you order from?

I was on my iPad just trying to get through to something. And next thing I knew I had a reservation screen. My number was B101. Although.. at the moment I can't do anything.

I'm at work for the next hour or so, then I'm going to be on the phone with Apple until I can get this sorted.

Got the 2nd email and completed order with 9/19 delivery date :) B101
Verizon 6 plus 64 gb space gray ordered through apple store app somewhere between 4-430am est
Got reserved email at 5:18 am est
Got complete order email at 9:47 am est

Sprint. I don't remember the exact time I got the reservation notification. The 1st email came through at 5:19 am EST
The 2nd email came through at 9:51 am EST.

Also, this is for a 6+ 64gb Gold
 
I also just got my "2nd email" and completed the order, and thankfully, the delivery date is still 9/19.

I had a B201 reservation.

Can't you call your carrier to transfer the upgrade to the phone line?

So, it may be different, but you might be looking at the screen that allows you to choose cases, Applecare+, etc. On that page, it can be misleading and looks like they're saying 3-4 weeks, but if you continue, you'll see (or at least that's how it turned out for me) that delivery is 9/19, as long as that's what you originally had.
 
That's why I hate pre ordering through carrier websites as they have lower quantities comparing to apple, you might get the 9/19 delivery but that is very possible to change.

I guess I can but I'm out of the country at the moment. I have a second reservation number and that might be for the correct phone line but waiting for the 2nd email. The first reservation was B101, the second was B601. I'll call if the second reservation is longer delivery time.
 
I got mine through the app around 12:20AM PST, B601 reservation number. Still waiting on 2nd email. AT&T 6 Plus Gray 64GB.

Yea I thought that too, but my gf ordered 9 minutes later and it told her she would get hers between Oct. 1 and oct. 6.

My theory is that these dates are just wacky this year and if you get your order in soon enough, u can ignore the delivery date and just expect the phone next Friday.

Got the 2nd email for my B101 reservation and was able to order with a 9/19 delivery. I didn't have the option to pickup in store however (that would've been my preference). Not complaining though.
 
I got the same message but was able to order another phone on the same line just a couple of hours ago with a 9/19 delivery confirmation.

I pre-ordered 3 different phones last night around 3:45am.

I got this reservation message with a reservation number on all 3. Only had the foresight to write down the last of the 3. (it was nearly 4am, cut me some slack).

Never received a 1st email on any of them...when I look up the one number I do have written down on the website, no bueno.

Not a happy camper...as I think I am pretty much screwed in the rear.

The one number I DO have is a B201 number...
 
I had a B101 reservation and when I got my second email, it had me reserved with a 16GB iPhone 6, not a 64GB gray iphone 6 Plus like I wanted. When I changed the phone in the reservation to the plus I wanted, the shipping time showed 3-4 weeks. Looks like I'm camping out next Friday at AT&T, Best Buy, or Apple.
