"We Have an iPhone reserved for you"

Received my second email and I was a B101 through Verizon. Ordered a 128 GB Space Gray 6 plus and my ship date stayed at 9/19. Pretty happy/surprised with that with how sketchy everything was this morning.

Same boat as you, except 64 instead of 16. I'm at work for another 30 minutes to an hour and I'm going to try and call sprint. If anything, I'll pay the ETF and it should allow me to get the 2 year contract price? Maybe?

But I really don't wanna let this reservation go. Sprint I hate you.
 
B401 here, may have to wait a while longer. Every time I get a new email activation I still get excited it may be from Apple.. I get too much spam.
 
Well crap. I just got mine 301 for others reference. Looks like it picked the 16gb for me. Has with delivery. Just not sure if it will be worth it to get the 16. Its a tough choice knowing how scarce the plus is. Changing the phone or order at all changes the delivery to 3-4 weeks fyi.

Got my 2nd email about 20 min ago, 6 plus 64gb verizon delivered by 9/19. With how bad it went last night I was rather upset and not expecting this to work out, very happy and relieved to see it work this way, even more so to know I wont be standing in a line for hours come Frdiay. :cool:

What did your reservation number start with?
 
I reserved my 6 plus under a line that doesn't have an upgrade.

Does anyone know if AT&T will let me swap an upgrade from a different line to this line if I call them?
 
I've got two reservations both starting with B301. Have not received the 2nd email for either.

I tried ordering for an hour and a half at 3am est, at one point I did get a reservation message (B201), but I never got an email so I kept trying to order.

At 5:20 am I did get an order for a space grey plus 128 to go thru, but with the 7-10 day shipping and Oct 1-6 Delivery.. ok not great but not the end of the world...

right after completing the order I get the order confirmation, and the reservation email, I got the second email about an hour ago and that order would have been delivered on the 19th!, but its too late to use it since I already have an order. I'm not about to cancel my order, so I'm hoping Apple is overestimating the delivery time and I get it a little earlier that that!

I had 2 reservations being held.

The first was B101 and received first email at 2:19 am MST and received the email to complete the order at 6:51 am MST. Showed 9-19 delivery.

The second was B401 and received first email at 2:21 am MST and still have not received completion email.

Both via iPhone Apple store app and 64gb gold 6+

Had a PC a Mac an iPad and iPhone refreshing. Only on iPhone the pre order ever came available.

Am I correct that there won't be an actual order created with apple until the reservation is processed?

For one line I was able to get a pre-order and never went through any reservation (order confirmation right away). 9/19 delivery for this one.

For another line, I got three emails

1) Reservation B101xxx
2) Reservation B601xxx
3) An order confirmation. This order currently shows "processing"

This morning I got an email that I need to complete reservation B101xxx within 24 hours. However when I try to complete it, it says there is already an iPhone reserved with this line.

I did experience several timeouts with this order. I think the items number 1-2-3 above are actually three different things, and so I'm OK to let the reservations expire, because I have an actual order for this line.

Does that sound right? Do the people with just a reservation have an order with apple yet that shows up under "order status"?

i had the same exact thing. finally placed my order for 6+ att 64 gig gold and after i get order confirmation emails, i got the reservation email.

I don't want to cancel that order cause honestly i was trying to get any configuration in my cart that I have no idea what the reservation is for.

so i too am hoping the date gets moved up. Never has it been this bad to order. I always get through very easily on the iphone apple app, but this year, it was a mess. took me 2.5 hours. I am in Los Angeles.
 
Got 1 email, starts with B401, have not received a second email, if i do what are my options? How does it know if I am renewing my contract or doing NEXT? Was planning on doing NEXT,

At 5:15 am i was able to order a 64gb 6 plus gray t mobile full price with 7-10 days shipping as well, oct 1-7th.

Been up since 2am.
 
Here is what happened to me... I ordered my first phone (ATT 6+ 64) and it went thru fine (well, after 45 minutes). I went to do the next one and I got a timeout during the process. I went back in and it was in my cart, so I completed the checkout and got confirmations on both phones. Then I also received "Your iPhone has been reserved" email. I just got off the phone with Apple and they assured me (person who answered and his supervisor) that I could ignore the reservation email and that both my iPhones were indeed confirmed for pickup on 9/19. They said I did not have to complete the confirmation and it would go away in 24 hours and not affect my order. I hope they are right.
 
I am not - but my friend did a reservation on Framily. Does it even give you the option to change your plan?
 
Just got the second email and finished the purchase. I had B401, and my selection and delivery date were the same as earlier. (9/19 delivery)
Got my Order is Processing email. Finally!
 
Got the second email just now. B301...

Don't need it. I was able to order for in-store pickup last night. Guess I'll just let this number languish and someone else can take it :apple:

Shipping date went to 7-10 days on the link
 
1AM and I got the reservation.

Waited till 2AM for the email.nada

Woke up about 40 mins. ago and had the email.

Went to the link but it said ships 3-4 weeks.

This is almost identical to the experience I had (described above). I'm inclined to believe what you were told, given that I never went through any reservation process for my first order, and I got two from the second attempt (along with an actual order). I think Apple was just being proactive when the carrier could not be reached (which is where I got several timeouts/errors).

If someone who got just a reservation could confirm--when you get the reservation, there is no apple order under "order status". After you get the email to complete the reservation, only then is an order is created with a confirmation email, etc. Is that what people are experiencing?
 
If I follow through with the reservation with a longer wait time then 9/19 but happen to grab an iphone at launch, will I be able to cancel the reservation since it would not have shipped by 9/19?

I'm B601 for a plus so I except a wait
