What Apple Product Are You Most Thankful For?

The Apple Silicon Macs, as they've made those computers even faster and more powerful than their Intel predecessors, yet they generate less energy! And I'm also thankful for Mac OS and the other Apple software for it, of course.

Watch Ultra. Best yet. Had the first watch from day 1. I’ve lost 60lbs in past year. No more blood pressure meds, no more pre-diabetes, no more smoking, no drinking, track all calories in, and the watch tracks all calories going out. I had reached a fork in the road and it took a couple years to make all changes, slowly, then it snowballed. All my health metrics are better. I maintain Apple Watch had a lot to do with this. As a result of taking responsibility for my physical health, my mental health is far, far better. You have to want it and you have to take radical responsibility for yourself. The watch will help. Heart stuff, oxygen, sleep, recovery metrics big motivators…. To checking weather for getting outside, wind, temp big ones. I do wish humidity was a complication.

I am thankful for living in a stable, rich country that enables me to work a job I greatly enjoy, take care of my family and health, entertain various real and silly projects, all of which lead me to be able to afford Apple products far down the line, but thankful for Apple products in and of themselves?

iPad mini. Particularly the cellular models. Always-connected computer that fits comfortably in a dude's side-pocket and has way more viewing room for web-browsing and e-mail than a phone ever will afford? Hell yeah!

I am most thankful for Apple's expanded use of ads in the App Store, and look forward to ads coming to Maps and maybe Calendar or iWork apps, or maybe even the lock screen of my iPhone.

If I had to narrow it down to one, it would definitely be the latest Pride band. Followed closely by the polishing cloth

I am grateful for my fast M1 MacBook Air that I use daily for work and looking forward to a much larger screen on a MacBook Air. I am super grateful for my many years old iPhone X that's amazingly running iOS16, it's my backup phone, I've been using it daily for a couple of months until I receive my recently ordered iPhone 14 Pro in a few weeks. I am grateful for the lightness, water-resistance and quick connectivity to my Mac and iPhone, of my 3rd gen AirPods. I am grateful for the smoothness and amazing usability of my Magic Mouse, I use it daily for years. I am grateful for the size, looks and usability of my magic keyboard, also daily over the years. I am grateful for iOS16, I am grateful for macOS Monterey, upgrading to Ventura soon.

Looking forward to a larger screen MacBook Air and grateful for Apple generally and consistently delivering reliable, quality, long-lasting products that inspire greatness, creativity and repeatedly set the standard for mainstream tech.

The 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max is the best computer I've ever used. 20 hours of battery life is amazing, even when running Docker and compiling software all day long!

If it were not for the stimulus check of 2020 I would not have a MacBook Pro.
I didn’t get a stimulus check, but I had saved up 10 years worth of Apple gift cards from my family and bought a new MacBook Air M2 this year to replace my 2013 MBP. It’s an awesome machine! Cheers!

Macbook pro for sure. Apple silicon got rid of hot laptops and noisy fans. The performance is nice but it's the silence I love.

That’s actually fairly tough. I’m stuck between the iPhone 2G and iPod 5GB (first gen classic). I’m going to have to lean in favor of the iPod though. It’s really what got me back on the Apple ecosystem after the disastrous 90’s era. I remember using some Windows emulated iTunes software before they made the iPod for Mac. It was pretty lame but once I saw how everything integrated, it was game over, and never looked back.

Oh no I don’t like this at all. Apple products are tools like any other. They’re cool tools that I enjoy using them, but I’m not thankful for them.

This feels like some real cult-of-apple stuff.
If I bought a great saw that saved me a lot of time and energy - I'd be thankful for having it. I don't see how a computing device is any different.
