You’re very welcome. This is my very favorite music. It’s simply sublime. I have the DVD of Gardiner’s 1989 performance in San Marco. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it. It never fails to move me.
Listened to one of my favorites, in the car, during the morning’s foraging expedition.

Love her, too! I saw her in concert at the Fox in Detroit a couple of years ago. Great show.
I was going to see them in Jones Beach this summer, but it looks like that may not happen lol. Hopefully they'll do some arena shows in the fall, I'd rather do that anyway because it's always hot humid and rainy when they play at Jones Beach.

BTW, in this playlist, there's some music from Ivy, really terrific, totally different vibe. Adam Schlesinger of FOW, as you likely know, recently died due to C-19 complications, was a member (which is why it's in this playlist), also a member of Tinted Windows that also has some music in this playlist (it was a "superband" with James Iha from SP, Bun E. Carlos, also excellent).
