From the Mike Figgis documentary, Red, White and Blues, produced by Martin Sorcese, Lulu and Jeff Beck covering Ray Charles', "Drown in My Own Tears." What can I say ... it's raining again.

I'm quite a fan of this film and own the soundtrack. The John Mayall interview is the one I remember best, but it's chock full of the British blues greats including Jack Bruce, Bert Jansch, Albert Lee ... it's a long list so I'm including the IMDB link in case this sparks interest. It's somewhat difficult to find good track links on youtube unfortunately.

Brought over from the What’s on your mind Thread:

Found out yesterday Donna Summer's been dead for about a decade. I had off and on wondered why she hadn't released anything new. Missus Z may or may not have stared at me as if I'd grown a second head when I casually brought up the fact I hadn't seen any news about her music in years.

For those under the age of 40: Pretty popular singer in the 1970s and 1980s.

Edit: In my defense I usually don't keep up with that kind of news. I recently found out a few months ago two of my favorite singers from decades ago had passed long ago.

Donna Summer had some great songs in the disco era, powerful voice, make you hop around! :D

This is the original track laid over a live performance.

She still had it in 2009
