I was browsing through Qobuz playlists and found a classical one with 192 KHz recordings. Although I can't hear very high frequencies thought I would give it a try. One of the tracks I listened to was

II. Scherzo. Molto vivace - Presto

I have listened to this symphony probably 100s of times so didn't expect anything particularly new, as much as I love it. I was wrong. This recording was a revelation, particularly given its age. I was listening on headphones (Focal Stellia) in order to hear the detail and this recording delivers it, more than almost any other recording I've listened to. Minor background instruments themes which I had never heard were there. On chorus vocals it was occasionally possible to single out individual singers. The kettle drum were right there in the corner of my living room.

Tried the same track on Tidal and Apple Music. Tidal had the same 192 KHz track in flac so didn't hear any difference. Apple Musics' version was lossless but didn't compare, either via headphones or by speakers. It wasn't bad, but the bright colors were muted, dulled.

Currently working through my first and favorite 80’s metal band’s (Iron Maiden) entire catalog.

I’m 3/4 of the way through No Prayer for the Dying, but it actually reminded me of how back when it came out I felt it signaled the end of the Maiden sweet spot:

Number of the Beast thru Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

And thus, those are the only Maiden albums I actually paid for.

A little pick me up... however this isn't one of their heavy-heavy songs, but still packs a nice little punch.

Gojira - Low Lands

While I won't disagree with you... there are a few gems after the Seventh Son, not many, but a few and I get what you are saying! Powerslave and Number being two of my favorites albums followed by Somewhere... Their latest's album though, I haven't been able to get into, yet. I have listened to it a few times and it seems to be growing on me. I have so much Maiden, it would take me days of listening to, which I have. I freaking love this band. If you haven't already, make sure to try and catch them live. They are freaking amazing and are still amazing!
