Does anyone have recommendations for a minimalist case? Very slim, light, sleek? I believe Incase has one but I don't like the colors it offers.

I'm not really looking from drop protection but mostly just protection from the scuffing. I have a black iPhone 5. If it shows the back that is a plus but I'm really not interested in plastic or rubber cases.

The Incase one I was talking about has some sort of microfiber-ish feel, not sure what it is called. I'm not really looking to spend more than $20, but if it's really nice I can go up to $30.

You are correct. It's flush with the edge.

I have THIS Elago S5 Slim Fit 2 case and I love it. The fit is actually perfect. The signal doesn't seem to be affected at all. Make sure you buy from Amazon. You'll get it at half the price at least.

I am so ticked off that Seidio changed the design of their Active cases from the 4 to the 5. The old design was a full case with a rubber interior similar to the Otterbox Commuter case, but it had a textured surface that was much easier to grip than the slippery plastic on Commuter. Now Seidio has changed the active design to a spine with 6 "arms" that look like they will break if you drop it on the corners.

I would go with the second option if it were me. I'm just not a fan of pouches. I don't think they protect the phone as much as the case, and you'd have to take the phone out every time you want to use it and then put it back in, so yes definitely the second one.

I actually think it's a really good case. If you want to look for other options as well, Elago has some nice cases. I also like SwitchEasy's Tones and Nude cases.

I don't live in the US or England too but have a US forwarding address that I use pretty often, because there are some websites that do not ship to my country. If you're not aware of that, there are a lot of package-forwarding services online.
