It would definitely be fine for a guy. Of course, like someone else before me, I am a guy and I am considering purple in addition to black.

Black would look good. White might, or could look awful - I can't visualise it :) A dark brown leather case could look awesome.

blue??? I love blue. Almost everything in my house is blue (no jokes about my films!!!)

2 11’s? Now that’s just greedy!

I wouldn’t get it as everyone would think you’re gay because it’s red, and we absolutely can’t have that. 🙄🙄.

I just god an iPhone 11 Pro 512GB Gold Color today (US Specs) with the official iPhone 11 Yellow case. Why is Gold not an option in the poll list?

Because this thread is just for the 11 colors. There another thread that is for the Pro and Pro Max colors. :)
Ok this is how I feel right now:

Guys, may I ask for a favour from all those who have a red and black 11 please. To help me decide whether I should keep my red or exchange it for a black, could you post more pics of your red or black phones please.

I really am the worlds most indecisive person!

Hey everyone! I have owned my Pro Max Green since launch day, and I just ordered a Purple iPhone 11 today, that’ll be here tomorrow for my wife!

shes excited that’s for sure.

It would be okay for a guy to carry it around if it were pink. But it isn't.
I apologise for my comment above. I am embarrassed by it. Really I am. I have no idea how or why that post came out of me. It isn’t because I’m prejudiced , because that I most definitely am not.

No need to apologize, but I do admire the way you handled this. Hope you manage to find the color you are looking for. I wouldn't be reading threads like this one if I didn't also sometimes agonize over color choices.

Thanks guys for the pics. May I ask how you got the retro effect?

that's likely from slickwraps. they have some really sweet retro skins.

is that the official apple case? i bought the naked slickwraps and i have always had trouble getting a case on with a skin. any issues? looks great. and if it's not the apple case, which one are you using? thanks.

please excuse my lack of knowledge / silliness - but was this a pure red iPhone before the transformation? If so, how did you make the red around the camera white? Is it a wrap that comes ready cut and you just place it over the camera area?

knowing how the slickwraps work, i think i can answer that. it's basically a sticker. there is a piece with cutouts for the camera area. then there is a larger piece that fits around the entire phone body, with more cutouts for speaker holes, buttons, etc. It covers pretty much the entire phone surface save for the screen. i bought skins from them for our nintendo switch. very well made. a 3M material i believe. easy to remove when necessary. easy to apply (at least the dry-install kind like seen above). and they have a no-goof policy - they will replace your skin if you mess up the first one. high quality stuff with great designs. and no, i don't work for them.

Thanks mate. If left on for quite some time, will it damage the paint on the phone? I have a friend who wrapped his car and when he removed The wrap some parts of the original paint work were damaged.

no, and these in particular are engineered not to harm the finish in any way. i've personally used the wet-apply skins for years (and slickwraps does sell these as well), which I think adhere to the phone much more securely. and even after being on the phone for 2 years, while difficult to remove (really have to tug at it and go slowly), they still didn't do any damage whatsoever.

So, big question for me - do I keep my product red and put a wrap on when bored? Or just exchange for a black phone? What would you do?

I'm in love with this stunning red, wouldn't cover it for any reason. Once my Apple Clear Case will be scratchy, will buy another one!
