I just want products that can compete with a Fry's weekly special MS system. At this time I can't even recommend an iPhone to my friends because I can't recommend the rest of the Apple ecosystem; antique desktops that don't have the GPU power to play even basic games at reasonable frame rates, laptops that are made thinner rather than more powerful.

I'm still in the Apple family because of years of investment - I can't recommend anyone enter it with the current equipment available.

Yeah, my pop needed a laptop and not to long ago I never would have considered a pc - it probably would have been an air, but, we got him one.

For hardware, I would like to see more ports, more power, more battery and less thinness. This drive to be as thin and light as possible both in the Macs and iOS devices is a bad idea.

(2) MacBook Pro: I have been having battery issues and constant with the new models, and I replaced my first one and am testing out a new one to see. Either way, a lower price point and these problems fixed would be welcome. Those issues non-withstanding, the new laptops are my favorite Macs Apple has ever made. Touch bar, Touch ID, new keyboard, trackpad, speakers, screen and design are all top notch.

I'm very much interested in buying the new rMBP, can you post back your findings on the replacement? If it's just a few bad apples...

A MacBook Pro that is actually designed for Pros.

A new MacBook Air.

A keyboard that isn't flat, shallow, non-ergonomic.

An updated or new 4" iPhone (SE style) that you can hold and use with one hand comfortably without using an ugly case.

An official acknowledgement that the Touch Bar was a misstep and stupid gimmick.

An apology to those effected by the defective batteries.

Is that too much to ask?

1. MacPad - 10.5", switchable macOS and iOS Mode, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 3xx dpi Display, USB-C, Pencil support, 3D Touch, no Home button, Finder and Unix-Shell even in iOS Mode
2. iPhone Pro with 4:3 format display. Same display height as 7+, same display width like Kindle Paperwhite. No curved crap, just a flat nearly borderless 4:3 display. Plus no home button and IP68 water resistant
3. A way to locally backup iOS to my own NAS and restore App settings and/or data independent from other Apps
4. Apple must fix marking text for copy/paste on iOS in Safari ASAP! We have 2017.
5. Personal iCloud Server for Linux to have everything on own harddiscs
6. Show Mailheader in iOS Mail app
7. Developer Mode for iOS Safari

I want some sort of Echo like device that has AirPlay built in with voice control of where it can send the audio in addition to being able to connect it directly to a speaker. In other words, an Echo Dot that works with AirPlay (Apple Music) rather than Bluetooth.

I also want AirPlay to work with multi-zone audio in iOS and the device above. WHAALE can do it from iOS, so Apple can easily make this work without needing a computer in the mix.

A new and much better Mac mini would be nice, too.

In 2017, I want to see Apple admit they made a mistake with their Macbook Pro release (yeah right), that they should have listened to their user base and created a laptop that is a true "PRO" workhorse with all day battery life, has the latest technology specs, can be upgraded, and has the ports needed to get work done. Admit that nobody asked for a thinner and lighter Pro laptop that is under spec'd and over priced (That's what the non-pro model is for). The price wouldn't have been such a big deal if we got a real Pro laptop.

A seperate iPad Pro iOS iteration so pro apps are developed for the hardware instead of watered down apps that can work on a 2 year old iPhone

macOS officially supported on Dell XPS 13 - if you can't beat them, join them...

I second this! The jokes and sass have become grating and sometimes unbearable to me.

Sometimes I'm busy, I have my hands full, so I try to use Siri to cut down on screen time, and the damn thing can't do what I ask it to do properly, and then cracks a joke about it. I don't have time for that, and the jokes and sass that follow are snotty and unwelcome.

These days I only use Siri to set a timer when I'm cooking and my hands are messy. It does do that well.
You should be able to tune the level of humor and sarcasm like the robot from Interstellar.

- Redesigned iPhone 8 with 5" OLED display, integrated home button, reduced bezel, dual cameras, ranged wireless charging, A11, etc.
- 5th gen Apple TV that is 4K capable.
- Kaby Lake refresh for MBP with $200-300 price reduction, includes the originally designed for this MBP generation, but not implemented due to technical/production issues "shaped" battery for increased/reliable battery life.
- Apple Watch Series 3 available with round face, improved battery life.

- [2018 more likely] iPad Pro 7.9" (former iPad mini) with OLED display, 3D Touch, integrated home button/Touch ID, edge to edge design similar to redesigned iPhone. File system for iOS 11/12, OSX integration?

I'm definitely not asking for anything Apple is not capable of doing, not technically/economically feasible for Apple to implement in 2017.
