I happen to own the 2016 13" w/Touch Bar model. There's nothing wrong with it. What do you want to see changed?

Hey CerebralX,

32 gig of ram. There are PC laptops out there doing this already. I would happily trade thin and light for a heavier but portable monster laptop. This for demanding multitrack pro audio / video. And uh, games!

A decent 5k monitor to stand along side an iMac and look like they belong together

I got around this (not with a 5k unit of course) by buying an older, out of date iMac and setting it up as an additional monitor. I HATED that the thunderbolt monitors totally did not match the iMac in any way.

What I want... though I expect none of it.

1. iPhone X style treatment in the SE style case.
2. iMac 24” with user accessible storage and memory
3. Updated Pages that has a better interface, that is a bit more standard
4. iPad mini with thinner bezels but same display dimensions
5. Another Apple TV remote that works better, not as sensitive, etc.

I can't believe how many people want a mini, but I'll throw my name in the hat. I have a mini from 2 generations ago, 4-core with maxed out RAM and an after-market SSD. It's still working reasonably well, but I'd replace it if given a viable option.

Much more so, however, I'm looking for the mMP. I have a hurried up cMP 5,1, but I'm getting anxious about having a viable replacement. I do like the iMac Pro, but choke on the non-upgradeable nature of such an expensive computer. For the record, I think it is fairly priced... just not what I want.

Do those laptops with 32GB of RAM also offer comparable battery life? Also you'd rather have a heavier laptop because of this? For how many people are you speaking? What would you need 32GB of RAM for in a 13" macbook pro without dedicated graphics?

Apple never said a Mac Pro would come in 2018; they said it wouldn't come in 2017. Make of that what you will.
The article asked "What Do You Want to See From Apple in 2018?" and the Mac Pro is something I want to see in 2018. I never claimed that they will release it in 2018. I have no clue where you got that from?

Wouldn't a keyboard like that need a lot of charging?
They would be able to incorporate larger batteries into that keyboard than are in the 13" MacBook Pro. So I don't see it as needing too much charging. Most probably a lot more charging than regular keyboards though. I also am unsure whether Touch ID would work over bluetooth considering its security sensitive nature and the Secure Enclave etc.
