A simplified product line in regards to the iPad, iPhone - no more home buttons!

A simplified Mac lineup.

An additional smaller HomePod in the sub $100 mark... Something to compete with the Google Home Mini/Amazon Echo Dot. Something to also compete with the Google Home Hub.

Dark mode on iOS

Multi-User HomePod Support.

Please Apple... make my dreams come true!

A modular Mac. For the pro market, they can bring back the cheese grater chassis. But also make a modular mac for the rest of us. Something as easy to upgrade as the PowerMac G5, but with fewer expansion bays/slots. Regular folks don't need a Raid 10 and 128GB RAM and a dozen expansion cards.

I know this is unrelated, but I just joined this site and can't figure out how to start a new thread on an issue I have. Can someone please help me out?

Macbook Pros with no issues and iPad Pros that don't bend when you look at them? Oh, and price cuts across the board for everything. Dark mode for iOS would be nice too, let's have some congruity between platforms, Apple used to be king at these details. Oh and an Apple branded display, not that hideously uninspired LG turd.

A 15 inch laptop with 500 GB disk at 1600 EUR. Many years ago this was perfectly possible (and inflation did not hit this hard).
Now the cheapest 15 inch laptop is 2800 EUR and only has 256GB.

Yes, we have retina, yes, we have SSD, touch bar, etc... But some people want 15 inch and decent disk space.

Apple thinks we want mini-laptops and pushes us these smaller screens.
Next, you need to buy an external monitor and pay again. Sigh...

I would like to see an design refresh on the iMac. The thick black bezels and giant chin are sorely outdated in 2019.
I am so surprised a redesigned iMac has not come sooner. I’m very happy with my original 5k iMac (2015 - I think), but I’d love a new design for my next one along with a better way to access those ports.

A 15” iPad would be nice
or
An iPad that can run Mac apps
or
at the very least, an iPad that supports a mouse. Doing word processing or spread sheet while I have to constantly reach the screen with my finger is no fun.

Reliable text selection in iOS.
Is that too much to ask for?
But we won't even get that.

On that note, it drives me nuts when you highlight the address bar in iOS and before you can copy it or put the cursor at the end if it, you have to literally sit there and wait 1 second before trying to execute the next command. So much room for improvement with text selection/copying/pasting/editing/etc.

SE2 and/or fresh 2019 iPhones. Usually have iPhone upgrade fever even tho I really like my xr

Probably not refreshing anything else this year ... but I’ve said that a few times

- FaceID for laptops and iMacs
- larger Mac mini that makes it possible to have better video cards
- high-quality Apple Music (FLAC)
- AirPods that don't fall out of my ears :)
- Apple Display
- get MagSafe back
- better quality control for batteries (I had two failing on iPad Pro and Apple Watch 4)
- equalizer for HomePod
- improve Siri, I don't need a 'I can look that up on the web for you' answer, I'm perfectly capable of doing this if I wanted that in the first place
- new mesh router system

I bought an iPhone 8 Plus exactly a year ago. I love it but I do miss the headphone jack and I do wish the dual lens camera was offered on a significantly smaller phone, even smaller than the X/Xs. I don't think Apple will release anything within the next two years that would make me want to upgrade. I would like to see the following changes made to iOS:

-Dark mode
-Allow the entire picture to be set as a wallpaper instead of zooming in on it.
-Allow default apps to be changed (mail, maps, browser).
-Allow app icons to be placed anywhere on the home screen.
-Ability to hide apps from the home screen but keep them on the phone, not just bury them in a folder.
-Redesign Photos, Music, iTunes, & App Store to be less clunky for lack of a better word (this goes for macOS too).
-This is probably not an issue for many people but I deal with it all the time. If someone texts you from their phone number and then texts you from their AppleID, keep the messages in the same thread based on the contact info instead of splitting the threads based on where the message is coming from.

My family is in the market for a new desktop to replace our 2009 iMac. I hope the next iMac update includes:

-Significantly reduced bezel size.
-Comes in space gray (including all accessories).
-Same amount of ports (no removal of SD card, headphone jack, USB-A).
-Magic keyboard (no butterfly mechanism!!!) with touch ID.
-Magic mouse charging port moved so it can still be used while charging.

Bring back the AirPort router line.

Can't like this enough, for the love of god give us another Time Capsule and think about the ecosystem and not the margins or the fact people don't upgrade their routers every year. Then again, maybe people would've upgraded them more often if Apple didn't sit around for 5 years between upgrades...hard to upgrade something when Apple sells the same one for 5 years...

FaceID on my Mac. I had to work on a Surface recently and they have facial log-in. Sometimes that was a pain (when I wanted to get into a different profile), but overall auto-login with your face is pretty handy.

I'd love it if this could be a software thing and added to my 2018 MacBook Pro.
