I have three wishlist items, in order of what I imagine is the likelihood they'll exist:

1. An M4 MacBook Air, with optional nano-texture screen. The M4 part will certainly happen this year, but not sure about the nano-texture screen.

2. Apple Ring. I would use it to get sleep and other health data without having to wear an Apple Watch all the time. There are rumors, but who knows.

3. An ultralight MacBook. Basically, the old 12" Retina MacBook but with an M-series processor. I don't think this will happen, as they seem to have decided we can all use iPads for this use case (ugh).

4. This is niche as hell, but a 4.5K display that mirrors the design of the M4 iMac, in matching colors, to sit next to it. I'm probably one of like 15 people who would actually buy this one 🤣

5. A Siri that is actually smart and useful, understands context and can put different pieces of data together well. I have put this at the very bottom because I've truly lost hope at this point. I hope I'm wrong about this!

I would love to see a 30 or 32 inch iMac PLEASE!!!!!
Nooo! No more All-in-Ones. What you really want is a full range of Apple displays and a dongle-sized Mac that can connect with one cable for power and video.

The displays should be a range from iPad size to giant, and include laptop form factor with attached keyboard, and all have a very minimal OS for standalone use as smart TV/browser.

There’s still too many US only features, especially in the finance. Could we finally get Apple Pay Cash or Apple Card in the EU?

Also, I’d like to use HomePod Mini as surround speakers.

Ha! What do I want to see? I want to see them actually innovate.

This is no longer the Apple that once was. They should have been the first to market with a solid folding screen. They should have been first to market with AI. They should have been first to market with so many things like they once were, but instead they play catch up to everybody else with the excuse "Well, we're going to do it *right*" ...only and then they don't. Instead, we get more buttons added to our phones? (The "Action button" on the left which wasn't enough so we got another "Action button" on the right!) How long until my entire phone border is filled with buttons? ...Which is a 180 from everything they were aiming for previously when they were trying to eliminate buttons to simplify the experience. No longer are iOS devices simple.

I want to see:
1/ Apple making EyeSafe displays across the line up.
2/ Jony Ive back at Apple.

Of course, this will never happen.

Instead they'll just buy back another $100B in stock and the stock price will rise 25%.

Despite the bulletproof physical design and craftsmanship of Apple products, I'm increasingly skeptical about Apple's future. Their lineup feels painfully stagnant, and they’re in dire need of a game-changing product. Meanwhile, other phone makers are making significant strides that are hard to ignore. Maybe it’s time for Apple to take a bold leap—perhaps a larger iPad or even ditching iOS entirely to partner with Google’s Android. It wouldn’t be such a stretch; after all, they’ve already collaborated with ChatGPT for AI, Google for search, and recently acquired Pixelmator for Photos. At this point, even if Apple does copy some of these features, they’re falling so far behind that catching up might not be enough. 🤷‍♂️

Apple providing dev tools within Unity, similar to Meta to allow apps developed easier for the vision pro. Or just buy Unity. Do something at least.

Every year. Every one from now until forever: SMALL PHONE

The ability to have one Apple Watch, useable by two or more iPhones, they both use the same account !!!!

Right now on board AI generation is poor on apple devices through a combination of unoptimized software and hardware that has unified memory that lacks the bandwidth seen on dedicated GPUs usually used for this purpose. I would like to see some configuration designed specifically to handle local AI. Probably will be out of my price range but would be nice.

Tim Cook regularly gets the support of about 99% of stockholders. If you want to replace him buy up 51% of Apple then name your own CEO. Give us some names of people you think might please you.
How about Reed Jobs, venture capitalist?

  • Better and stable iOS and platforms with new features
  • It’s time for a new modern UI/UX, current is 10+ years old
I think changing the UI/UX for the sake of something different is dangerous. However, if it's utility is to accomplish a touch UI to combine MacOS apps on iPad, I'd be down.. :)

My list:

  • iPhone mini
  • Instead of that iPhone mini: get rid of the full SE line, and simplify the iPhone line-up with just 3 models: mini, pro and max. Then allow configuration per model to cover the full price & specs range
  • Simplify the Macbook lineup. Too many models now. Again, just 3 models and allow configuration per model
  • Only release hardware / software when it's finished. The yearly update cycle doesn't make sense
  • Merge Apple Music and Apple Classical, also on macOS. Or, at least, allow Apple Classical to run on macOS.
  • Return of the "one more thing"
And I wouldn't object to a somewhat more visionary leadership.

I'd like to see three things that will likely never happen:
1) The ability to use a eGPU with MacBooks, Mac Mini, and Mac Studio and DGPU with Mac Pro
2) Studio Display refresh with a second input - does not need to be Thunderbolt, HDMI or DP would be good (working speakers via HDMI or DP would be great, don't care about the Mic/Webcam).
3) A single solitary USB Type A port added back onto the MacBook Pro's.

And two things that might have more probability (the second being something that would likely only happen if there was a manufacturing benefit):
1) Ability to Bootcamp Windows 11
2) Ability to "upgrade" the flash storage in the MacBook Pro the same as you can for an M4 Mac Mini.

A larger display size for the Studio Display is very unlikely to happen as Apple likes to maintain that 218 PPI. I highly doubt we'll ever get an iMac larger than 27" for this exact reason.

Considering Apple is an *glances at notes* American company, it would make sense for it to cater to its home country first.
They are a worldwide company with their HQ in California. They release their products around the world on day 1. They charge the same in international markets, even if features are missing. Other companies like Google release their products in many many more languages from the start. So it is doable.

The AVP that was introduced in early 2024 was not innovation? Or the new much smaller M4 (Max) Mac Mini that came out two months ago?

Honestly, I most look forward to much better battery life and battery health for all portable products from watches, phones, to tablets.

Battery life and battery healthy of the Apple Ultra series seems pretty good, but as my Ultra ages and is now at 89% battery health, I can see that if it had even MORE battery life at the beginning of its life, a decrease of 10% of its battery health wouldn’t bee all that noticeable as it is now.

Battery life and battery healthy of the phones in the Pro series could be a lot better. It would like at least the Pro series to be able to go through 1.75 days under heavy use, most notably when camera and GPS are involved such as they often as when used for leisure travelling purposes.

iPad’s battery life isn’t bad. Instead of making them ever thinner, make them lighter and/or have even better battery life.
