It's an original. I had a friend way back when I used to go to camp who was straight edge so I had come up with it after he told me what being straight edge was all about. I chose it because it sounded interesting but as far as actually being straight edge? Well, not really. :D

Im 320lbs and everybody around my parts knows me as Bizzlefats, often shortened to Bfat. The 567 is based on my infatuation with the thoughts surrounding the number 666. 567 being man,"satan",and "god".

It just popped into my head the moment I registered. I didn't think about the consequences . . .

The mandatory i on Apple stuff back when I joined MR, and the word "Shater". Google it and you get why I'm such a nice guy :D :p

First letter of first name, first letter of middle name and last name.

It is the first part of my email address too.

PowerPC G4 with the Velocity Engine.

I was trying to come up with what was at the time my favorite CPU and convey my uber powerful computer. Unfortunately I never thought that I would post more than once or twice. Otherwise I would have used my favorite literary name, Helm Hammerhand.

I'm a HUGE fan of Japanese culture...specifically feudal Japan. That and I was kinda big on the game Dynasty Warriors. :p

It just came naturally.. straight from the keyboard "qwerty". The end - lizer - was just something I had to put there. It reminds me of somekind of gamer's name. :D

Back in the 1970's there was a TV show called SCTV. It was kind of a Canadian version of SNL. One of the episodes had a character named Muley Graves (Old Muley) who was played by Harold Ramis. He was the host of a "kids" show called Muley's Roundhouse, on which he often complained about Bolsheviks and kids getting all the good stuff, like boloney sandwiches.

Anyway, it was one of my favorite SCTV sketches and since I'm a bit of a train buff, it just made sense to be "Old Muley". Too bad that particular episode of SCTV never made it's way to DVD and it can't be found on youtube; I'd love to see it again.

kid

well this one time at band camp...it wasn't band camp, I actually can't play any semblance of an instrument... However, one of my friends got the name "the golden child" iThought it was cute. I was creating an email account...and the rest is sorta history. I am no longer technically a kid...and have consulted members about a username change...

mine is because i am from Huntington Beach and it is located in Orange County, hence HBOC. I dont know how i came up with it, but i used it for my first email account like 12 years ago or so, my senior year in high school..

First letter of my first name, and my last name. It was my student login name for the computers at my high school. I didn't have much of an imagination back then.

keebler is of course from the cookie elves commercials back in the day - i'm short and when hunting, my touque is pulled up over my ears to hear better, but it pushes the ears out - like an elf.

The gang was standing in the bush deciding where to walk next and someone said, "gee, don't you think he looks like one of those cookie elves".

That was 9 years ago and it's stuck forever now.

"Captain Ulysses Murdock" was an RPG character I came up with years ago. I probably abbreviated "captain" so I could fit it into a user-name field. It's been my online avatar ever since.

Usernames and why?

As the meme would suggest, how did you come about picking your username? In case you're wondering, yes, this is the part where we stand up in front of the class and tell everyone a little bit about ourselves :D

As I've seen an influx of newbies here, I was just curious as to what your username meant, if anything. So play along :D
