IOS7 and STILL you cannot dial in the native dialer with the name search.
Sometimes I believe this is arrogance on apples part. No we won't do it - take it or leave it.

What does it take to do this I say. Such a small piece if code addition.

And then the new controls by swiping up. Why o why can't they think let's add a customize button there.

Too flat lol!

A lot of little things bother me. Calendar and mail apps just don't look good. Just looks like text and lines. Mail indicator is just a number on the side. How about a dark blue bubble with the number inside it? Much easier to see when you have multiple mail accounts, I have 4 on my phone.

All just looks very "Windows-like".

Also, I prefer seeing and actual "button" to tap instead of just a word.

What to they have against buttons? First they get rid of physical ones, now virtual ones...

Just too many bugs or stupid design changes .
Why did the calendar need changing?
Its hardly better.

The same goes for reminders.

And some of the buttons on many apps are just pointless in both their size and the location.

The fact I can't select more than one picture to share at a time in iMessage, really Apple!

That function may be patented by someone else who uses that function. It's handy on my Android phone.

"Today" ---- if you are going to tell me I have two appointments tomorrow, why not just tell me what they are?

I've posted this into 2 other threads already, do some research:

Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Accounts

Select the email-account associated with the large amount of "new" e-mails.

At the bottom it should say: Mail Days to Sync

Set it too 3 days.

There is no such option for any of my mail accounts. I would not complain without checking the settings of the mail app.

I agree that it *should* have a "Mail Days to Sync" (or number of mails to sync) option. But it doesn't.

Another one. More of a Maps issue than iOS7 - but I cannot zoom the map or scroll the map while navigating. Huge pain to see what the upcoming route is. You have to click "overview" which is slow to do and still doesn't quickly give you an idea of the upcoming route.

It is customized for you already by Mr. Ive ;) Seriously, even old flip phones had custom buttons.

Apple is extremely arrogant and big headed. Take it or leave it has been their way for many years. Sadly, they combine it with their refusal to add useful things, because that would admit someone else had a good idea.

Probably been said, but I hate how try use their own pictures for the artists. I spent a lot of time on my iTunes library and I hate they do this.

I also don't like how I select an artist then have to go through all the articles albums to get to the one I want to listen.

Over all, I love it, and wouldn't go back to anything else for iOS 6. For a while I was thinking about getting a Windows phone just to have something different.

Folder and general transparencies are too opaque. I'm also getting random lag here and there. Overall the benefits outweigh the bugs but the transparency thing being too opaque is getting annoying. It's like a lack of polish on the OS.

3x3 folder layout
When in landscape mode, multitasking cards are still in portrait
I honestly don't like the messaging app all that much
But over all I really like iOS 7

When using iOS 6 it had a "look & feel" befitting Apples long standing well deserved reputation.

When using iOS 7 it's like "WTF is this" ?

My 7 yr old loves it, but at the expense of the adults that I have as friends & co-workers. Oh sure some adults are easily amused, but to the person all the iPhone 5S users I know feel cheated.

But hey, according to Apple it's the latest & greatest. Those of us who've been around Apple for years know that iOS 7 will be very successful. Apple will make sure of that... whether we like it or not.

It's good to be Apple :)

I call shenanigans on your entire premise, because the left hand image looks more iOS7.

Apple does prefer his example on the left.

You are crossing contexts in a futile attempt to justify the iOS 7 design.

I designed my aqua dots for use in a simple colour picker list or as status indicators (this is where they see the most use). Typically, that means they're used in a list view or some other data collection to signify the state of a task or device. Sometimes they're even used in logging areas to signify the importance of a log message (green = info, yellow = warning, red = error, blue = debug, etc).

If you knew anything about user interface design at all (and you clearly do not), then you'd know that this is a completely different context from a few irrelevant and highly superfluous bubbles (which are totally different then glass dots) used in the startup and home screen of Game Centre.

PS: This is not a question of whether I'm right or wrong. I have already converted those dots to the iOS 7 equivalents in several shipping applications because that is what fits in with the rest of Apple's UI widgets. My original post was a statement and is not open to speculation. I have tried using the left-hand images in iOS 7 but they looked out of place because they have depth to them.

1. Why locations services is required for the weather widget in notification center.

2. I'd rather look at an image of the sun or rain and the degrees instead of reading a weather snippet.

3. There is no location services toggle in the control center. Is location services supposed to be on all the time? Doesn't it drain your battery quicker?

4. Animations need to be a tad quicker.

5. It's not jailbreakable.

I agree that it *should* have a "Mail Days to Sync" (or number of mails to sync) option. But it doesn't.

It seems as though this feature is exclusively available to Exchange Services that utilize Active Sync, gmail unfortunately along with every other mail system does not utilize this system(except Outlook/Hotmail). I wasn't aware of this, it sort of seemed like a standard feature to come with every mail-service these days. Apparently it is not.

Do not disturb doesn't work anymore, it's clearly a bug in iOS 7...if anyone has a fix please IM me. Thanks.
It works fine for most so must be something else.

You should be able to add more than 1, one by one.

why does ios 7 elarges my pics for wallpapers...loses the quality...how to stop that?

Part if it is related to parallax. Take a look at one of many wallpaper threads in this forum for more info about that kind of thing.

The fact that the album location pins are gone in the gallery. Instead of a pin marking where you took the photo, now it's a small thumbnail. Looks tacky and unpolished.

I read the first four posts in this thread and concluded the exact same thing after seeing what iOS7 looks like from the screen shots thread. It is trying to be like M$. I won't buy a Windows phone because of that crappy interface. I will not upgrade the iOS on my iPhone5 because of its crappy M$ like interface. Even my wife hates the new interface and refused to upgrade the iOS.

BTW, these are our first and last iPhones, but since Apple seems to be going the Crayola look I think we'll go to Android. But we do understand Apple is targeting kids.

To be fair to Apple the FLAT look is the rage these days. I'm not a fan of FLAT. I much prefer the look of iOS pre iOS 7 and prefer the look of Windows 7 over Windows 8 and OS X over Mac Classic.

I think the biggest issue I see with Apple going forward is that not too long ago they were trend setters. They led and everyone hurried to follow. Now post Steve Jobs it's flip flopped. Companies are trying new things and Apple joins in. It happened with the iPad mini and now with iOS 7. :p
