What was apple thinking in putting a neon green bar when on a call??
Ow, my eyes! It burns!
What was apple thinking in putting a neon green bar when on a call??
I hate how it's make for kids, the reams of txt in notification centre and how the calendar has been dumbed down
What was apple thinking in putting a neon green bar when on a call??
They do? HALLELUJAH! I'm sick of, when I get more mail than usual, not even knowing about the one message that's really important until I've deleted the 50 trivial ones that happened to come in after it.My mailboxes now show ALL of my unread emails as new emails, instead of just paying attention to the most recent 50 emails or so
Since it's not happening to most, can't really be planned then.Battery life on my 4.
It totally stinks after upgrading to IOS7.
It also takes a ridiculously long amount of time to charge now!
I did a hard reset and re-install but battery life is still pathetic.
Planned obsolescence in a software update?
Apple does not require you to use the image on the right.
However, this leaves us developers in a tough spot. Non-flat UI widgets and graphics (such as the orb on the left) do NOT mesh in with the widgets that Apple provides as-is on iOS 7.
Which leaves the majority of us with a choice:
A) Embrace the iOS 7 design, and re-do all your graphics in the style of the orb on the right (I don't like this because I feel like I'm throwing out 5 years of my life spent investing time and effort into my own skill set)
B) Don't use Apple's code. Roll your own UI widgets from scratch. Implement everything yourself, skin ALL the user interface elements. Do it all by yourself.
This essentially boils down to:
A) Make apps that are literally cheaper and easier to make
B) Make apps that are literally more expensive and harder to make
Myself and many others have opted for plan B. We're doing that because we love to do what we do, and we love making great apps. Unfortunately, what I'm worried about is the 90% who go with plan A, and because of this the quality of the iOS ecosystem as a whole will be degraded.

I hope your correct about updates polishing things up because although I like a few of the new things, overall I'm still regretting I ever hit the upgrade button on my phone.
It's ok (livable) on my iPad 3 though. But I don't use the iPad on a daily basis like I do my iPhone 4S.
On the phone all the bright white is driving me crazy because I work at night and it's just to bright in the dark even with the brightness turned all the way down. Which of course make the contrast between the white and light braw even harder to deal with.
I've written Apple and begged them to give us the old (Classic) theme back as a choice in the settings. I informed them that even Microsoft offered the XP theme as an option when they made major changes to their OS (Win-7).
I also told them there was no need for a flashlight since all I had to do was open up the "notes" app if I needed flashlight.
Jon...
What's not to like, it's new different and colorful. If it were perfect Apple would have nothing to improve.
