You still have a long way to go o_O;)

I finished the scorpioness boss fight last night in DS2. Looks like I'm maybe 1/3 of the way through now..... not counting the DLCs... I'm not having too hard of a time with the game. Some of the enemy placement changes in the SotFS version seem to make the areas a little easier? Like in the Shaded Ruins area there are only really 2 of those transparent guys you need to take out on the way to the boss fight. Unlike in the 360 version I remember at least a couple of those lion guys with axes in the way, much harder to kill them.
As I have both expansion packs too, I'm sure I'll be playing this right up to the PS5 releases lol. Some days I make tangible progress, other days I just want to throw the controller out of the window and give a good kick to the developers nether regions.

I'm back to Dead Island. Love it. I'm so so into zombie games.

Also about to finish Bioshock 1. Finished Wolfenstein and loved it too. Can't wait for the new one with better graphics.

Making some seemingly fast progress through DS2. Cleared Harvest Valley, Earthen Peak, Doors of Pharros in the last couple days. Finished the Royal Rat Authority fight on the first try. That one gave me a lot of trouble the first time through - had to come back to it at the end game after lots of failed attempts. Not so much a hard fight just annoying with those dog things. One swipe of my Greatsword took them out this time though
I lit the first bonfire at the Iron Keep but decided to work on Brightstone Cove first. Cleared the Congregation boss fight last night and now I'm ready for that damn spider boss, Freja....

Made it to Irithyll Dungeon on DS3 ... inching my way forward ... very slowly

Briefly went to Arrandel - quickly returned to shrine as no way near strong enough.

Ran out of embers. Can't seem to buy anymore either.

Currently Football Manager 17 and starting Uncharted Collection on PS4 (starting with the first game). Then after that is Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Those damn dungeon wardens with the hot pokers really ruffled my feathers when I first go there. I would be playing at night with headphones on and one of them would make that creepy noise and then I'd watch my health bar go bye-bye.
After I leveled up a bit I made sure to go back there and punish those knuckleheads over and over again.

I managed to get past them. I am now stuck later on ... I backtracked a bit and found extra area in Irithtyll where some spear throwing maniacs are slaughtering me .... And then I tried my hand on the Dancer of Boreal Valley ... Got slaughtered .... Went back to the part after Irithtyll Dungeon further down with gargoyles and made it to the boss area ... Stepped into fog. Got slaughtered.

So now I am in 3 areas facing potential bosses or super challenge.

I am amazed at myself though for sticking it out. I am barely playing anything else last few days .... It's taken me 40 hours in game time to get this far ....

Well, I finished this a couple of days ago... but now I'm trying to do some of the optional stuff. The Great Crystal is a dog and some of the best spells are hiding in there :(
I went back and negotiated part of the Crystal, and also ran into an optional boss that I had no chance of beating at that level! I've done a few more of the optional hunts, including the Hell Wyrm with its massive health pool (yes, I know of the existence of Yiazmat...).

But FF12 is going on the back-burner because my copy of Dragon Quest XI arrived today :)

What games would be most similar to 'Zelda', 'Mario Odissey' and 'Super Smash Bros' for PS4?

I'm thinking 'Horizon Zero Dawn' and 'The Witcher 3' in the case of Zelda.

Zelda - Horizon Zero Dawn, Yonder and alternatively Darksiders 1 & 2.

Mario Odyssey - Yooka Laylee

How's that looking?

I just started it last night. Graphically, it's very good and the gameplay is intense. I did not play the original, so This is my first time with the remastered version. The only thing worth noting thus far is when you shoot the enemies, I feel like when they absorb the bullets, it's not realistic as it could be.

Also, from my readings on the Internet, a lot of gamers are stating that they would not pay $40 for the remastered version due to multiplayer aspects. I don't play multiplayer, I only play campaign. But I would try to find the game used or discounted. Overall, it's very good and the controls are straight forward as well.

Totally hooked on Splatoon 2 on Switch, with Retro City Rampage ( Switch) and Mario World (3DS) A’s palate cleansers.

Anyone have feedback on BioShock: The collection? I'm looking at possibly purchasing this and I have never played any of them.

I completed the base game in DS2 SotFS. Killed Vendrick, Nashandra, Aldia. Left the Ancient Dragon alone, lol. Now just the DLCs to do. I've dabbled in a couple of them and they seemed pretty tough but that was a lot of levels ago. Might not finish them if they're too much of a pain.....

I'd say that they're worth doing; I actually enjoyed them more than the base game. The world design feels more like Dark Souls 1 and I got the impression that they took their time with them.

On a completely unrelated note, I saw this fan art the other day and it reminded me of you :p

I just finished playing Bioshock 1 on the collection for PS4. Had it also on PS3 but never finished it.

Graphics are way better! Looks really really good and it's such a great game. I'll dive into Bioshock 2 in a couple of months. Don't want to play the same again.

But I HIGHLY recommend it! For the 25€ I paid for the three games I couldn't be happier!
