Completed Full Throttle the other day - good game. Now found out that quite some old Genesis/Mega Drive classics are available on Steam so playing Sonic 1-3 right now. Great games! Especially since I only owned a Master System (and Dreamcast) of Sega's systems so never really played them myself as a kid. Hopefully Sonic Mania continues where those left off.

Currently Football Manager 17 and starting Uncharted Collection on PS4 (starting with the first game). Then after that is Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

Can't go wrong with Uncharted! They're working on a new called Uncharted the lost legacy.

AC Syndicate is not bad but not too exciting from the past couple in the series...I'm hoping they spice things up a bit with the new one coming out based in Ancient Egypt.

My mate and I finished Resident Evil 6 yesterday. It was a slog.
Took us a while as when we started we were both on holiday from work so had loads of time to tackle it. But as we both went back to work and with his shift pattern we struggled.

Normally we'd go for the platinum but we both really didn't like the game enough to do it.
Maybe in future we'll go back to it but doubtful.

I'm now playing Yooka-Laylee (again) on my PS4 after completing it on the One on launch. I got all the achievements on it on my One and intend to do the same on PS4 with trophies. I was going to wait for the upcoming patch which rectifies all of the problems, but boredom got the better of me and I'm up to world 2 currently.

I finished Tekken 7 (platinum get) and Batman TellTale (platinum get) the other day in quicker style than I thought hence me reaching for Yooka again.

Also working through Yoshi and Poochy Wooly World on my 2DS XL which I'm having a lot of fun with!

I'd say that they're worth doing; I actually enjoyed them more than the base game. The world design feels more like Dark Souls 1 and I got the impression that they took their time with them.

I finished the Ivory King DLC Monday night. Finished up the Sunken King DLC last night. One more to go! From what I've read I get the impression that Old Iron King has the hardest bosses though....

Mission 7 of Dishonored 2.

The time-travelling mechanic is fantastic!!
Dishonored 2 is still in my to be played backlog. I pre-ordered the standalone expansion and will undoubtedly be looking at that in it's packaging still in 12 months time at this rate ....

On bright side still progressing in Dark Souls 3, spent last two days farming for souls to level up as I am stuck. But discovered an area today I had missed and managed to clear that area with only a few tries ....

Even though I am 60+ hours into my character I am still learning and having to rely on Google & YouTube to work out many of the things I have collected ... I appreciate From Software didn't want to spell things out, but the ambiguity of items in the game means you are often missing out on a lot of useful stuff from no fault of your own.

Been playing Quantum Break and whilst it's a good game, I'm not sold on the rather lengthy live action scenes... a bit overdone I feel.
After this it'll be onto Mad Max. I did see Prey for £20 in Tesco the other day but managed to resist for the moment as I have so many others to play through.

What items in particular? I can see being confused on what to do with the random covenant items you get along the way. Most everything else should be straightforward if you read item descriptions.

Against my better judgement, I have started on Demon's Souls. Nothing to really write home about yet though; I've only killed the first boss so far :p

I want to replay that now that I've been through the Dark Souls games a few times. Demon's was my first, been years since I finished it, Platinum even :) Not going to start on a replay for awhile though. Since I finished DS2 the other day I've just been casually making my way through a replay of Dead Space 2. Nice to play something a lot more forgiving than a Souls game for a change, lol!

It's out? How's d3 these days? I havent't played it in such long time. Still have auction?
I never used the auction, so I don't know if it's still there or not. They added seasons, which kinda sucked because it meant my season character can't use any of the Paragon points or gold/equipment I've gathered. Still, you get a few more character slots, so maybe that makes up for it.

Yeah things like the covenants etc... I am still unsure of the benefit and things like selecting a covenant allegiance, does it actually achieve anything ?

Also I have the season pass and the expansions. I can see how to get to Arandiel but I am stumped about the other expansion ..

Update on game progress ... playing ALL DAY today.

I cleared the two bosses in ArchDragon peak ....

Now to do Arandiel expansion and then final battle / area in dark shrine and job done.

Between this and Bloodborne, From Software has stolen all my gaming hours for the last few months and when I do finish I am looking at lots and lots of games in the backlog on PS4

That one had me stumped too, which ended up mainly being due to my own slow pace. The documentation stated that it was "recommended" that you complete Lothric Castle; this is actually a requirement. Once I'd finished that, I then accessed the expansion by accident!

I cleared the two bosses in ArchDragon peak ....
It seems that I need to get back into DS3 and explore some more, because I'm 90% sure that I've never even discovered this "peak"!

That really sucks. They are bringing out d2 remastered.

Currently alternating between Prey and Battlefield 1depnding on my mood. Prey really reminds me of the first Aliens movie. The mimics are the face huggers and the phantoms the actual alien. The jump scares are really nicely done coupled with the background eerie music. I was a System Shock 2 fan and this is truly its successor in every way.

I was considering Prey. I never Purchased it though. But it's on my list.

I finished the Battlefield 1 campaign a few weeks ago. Overall I enjoyed it, but I did not care for the tank or airplane missions. The Mini war stories didn't appeal to me, but the gameplay was intense and entertaining. Looking forward to seeing what Call of Duty WW2 Has to offer in November.

Could not get into Prey. Tried twice and it just does nothing for me. The mimic got boring quickly and it just felt forced to me, all hanging together on a wafer thin premise.

To me far from being the spriritual successor to System Shock 1 & 2, it just felt like an underbaked mimic of better sci-fi games.

I gave the game a good 8 hours and in that time the only thing that grew on me was a complete apathy for the game.

For me there are so many better System Shock style / inspired games including Soma, Alien Isolation, Dead Space 1-3, Dishonored, Dues Ex etc. That doesn't even factor all the Bioshock games.

Prey tries hard, but just feels like a poor mimic beaten into creation rather than crafted by a blunt spanner - and given that is pretty much how you will end up spending a large chunk of your time playing the game it is apt.

Prey may have not been the greatest game, but for me it was much better than what Prey 2 turned out to be.

So there it is, my view was completely polar opposite and a different perspective on it, but different strokes for different folks.

Reading all your posts really makes me want to jump back into DS3. I have opened the path to the Road of Sacrifices and had some first contact with fluffy bat/bird-like monsters a while back, but I never got around to explore it further. Overall, the game seemed harder to me than Bloodborne. Did you play a magic or a brute force build?

Will finish Dishonored 2 first though, should be only a couple more missions.

Playing as a pyromancer, so a mix of brute force and distance/range.

TBH difficulty is about the same between the two, I wouldn't have got anywhere near where I am in the game without the help of phantoms / other players who saved my bacon especially at the point where shear frustration was becoming a massive barrier.

There are FAR more entire hidden areas in the game though compared to bloodborne and thats ignoring the DLC.

From the 'Smouldering Lake', the 'Archdragon Peak', the 'Old Wolf of Farron' area with its boss and another hidden areas, 'the Consumed King's Gardens' ...

And i know I still have missed loads.
