I would like a real QWERTY keyboard that slides out, similar to the N97 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. I think the arc slide out design of the X1 is pretty cool and useful. It would be much easier to type on for people with big fingers and who like a tactile feel. PLEASE GIVE ME A REAL QWERTY, PREFERABLY WITH THE ARC SLIDER DESIGN OF THE X1!!! :D

Methinks someone missed the point of the iphone.....

1. RAM! At least double what we have now, if not more (512MB would be nice...)
2. An updated 3G radio that actually has HSUPA support (why, Apple? WHY?)
3. 802.11n
4. Faster CPU.
5. MicroSD slot! The fact that storage isn't user-expandable in current models is ridiculous.
6. LED for camera flash.

Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) as well as other Bluetooth profiles (such as file transfer for wireless sync to iTunes, which would just be SO cool, as would a serial/DUN profile for tethering) would be nice, but I don't think that a hardware upgrade is necessary for that to happen...that entire Bluetooth wishlist should be doable completely in software with the Bluetooth chip that is currently in the iPhone.

I think that the size is near perfect, it feels really good in your hand when holding it.
I used to own a first gen ipod touch and the dam thing was so thin that I was afraid that it would fall out of my hands when I was using the key-pad and such.

As for the camera, 3 to 3.5 would be more than enough.

Make it the case more 'grippy', maybe provide rubberised sides on the lower half, at the moment especially when try to take a photo its like handling a wet fish and I'm paranoid I am about to drop the thing.

Yep, someone has. The point of the phone is not really about being touch. The point is to be very simple to use. That's what really differentiates it from other phones, which have had touch for many years.

In his original sales speech (and make no mistake, whatever he says is not set in stone), Jobs said he didn't like keyboards that take up screen space. "And, what's wrong with their user interfaces? Well, the problem with them is really sort of in the bottom 40 there. It's this stuff right there. They all have these keyboards that are there whether or not you need them to be there. "

The biggest problem with an on-screen keyboard is that it DOES use up screen space when it's in operation.

A sliding keyboard doesn't take up screen space. This is really handy when filling out large forms. However, it does add physical thickness, which could be an issue.

Hmm, I like that LED notification.
I want
-Better quality plastic that doesn't crack
-3MP camera
-Flash for the camera
-Speaker on both sides of the phone
-A clicky screen like the Blackberry (Dreaming here)
-That patent we saw earlier with the 2 backlights.
