Agreed! I'm likely to do the same but also use some BSE skins on front and back as well.
 
Coming from a 7, so first time experiencing fast charging. Went a little overboard. Bought an Anker PD 10000 MaH portable charger, a 90W two-port USB C PD wall charger (which will double as my work MacBook Pro backup charger), Anker nano 20W PD wall charger, Anker USB C to lightning cable, Spigen tempered glass screen protector and a Spigen case for the 12 mini.

Went naked with my 7 for 4+ years and won't do that again. Screen was scratched up before I got it replaced a few months ago when I cracked it, back camera has a couple scratches on it that affected pictures and the body is really dinged up.

That's very frustrating. I didn't even think of the cable length. I think a longer cable needs to be made as well, for those people who have a power outlet quite far from where they want their MagSafe charger. As an example, my bedside table is definitely over a metre away from my nearest power outlet.

Oh there will be a longer one. Later. After you buy this one first! Tim will wait you out too, 2m version not coming until May 2021. Can you wait? I can’t. I’ll be getting both.

for me this year I’m going 12 Pro clear case (though I intend to go naked half the time, and the clear case when I think it might be a rougher day).

magsafe charger

Baltic blue wallet (I may not always have it, but the option is incredible, saves a pocket!*)

and when it’s available I’ll be getting the duo charger no matter how much it costs. I’m estimating $149, or $199 if they’re being very greedy. $149 would be just right. $179 is tough but fair.

*at the cost of encumbering your iPhone further, but that’s what makes the magnet part of it so appealing. Don’t need it? Yank it off. Need it now? Slap it on.

I can’t decide if I should get blue wallet or saddle. Getting blue pro with dark navy case. May get clear case at some point.
 
Just ordered 12 Pro in Pacific Blue along with the clear MagSafe case, MagSafe puck, and saddle brown leather wallet. By the time I saw the leather wallets they all had ship dates past Nov 2. Was anyone able to secure an Oct 20-23 ship date for the wallet?

Think 2nd to 9th was the dates from 1pm.

Got a Plum Silicone case to go with my Pacific Blue 12 Pro. Waiting on the duo charger to be available to order and will also order the Belkin car mount when that is available.
 
The Pro Max cases are still unavailable, I’m assuming they’re waiting for the Max preorder. The leather wallets looked like the earliest date was November for shipping.
 
Ordered the Poppy and Black wallets. Kumquat and Deep Navy silicone cases, MagSafe charger and Otterbox Aneu Case with MagSafe in Black.
 
I ordered 2 iPhone 12 in black for my parents... going get the plum silicon case for my mama, and I was planning on getting the black silicon case for my dad... but now reading some of the posts... the army green with the black iphone does look like a nice mix... might get him that instead.

Got screen protectors from iPhone and now need find wireless charging pads, since I don't think they would care for magsafe (unless it's reasonable priced...)

Now... just waiting for the 12 Pro Max for pre-order and i might splurge alittle for myself Lol... I think the army green silicon with the black pro max is what i'm going get. I wonder how many cards can you fit in the wallet case and is it secured to hold it in place... kinda interested in getting that...
