iPhone Air is a sleek & general-purpose phone, but I doubt it will be so popular with this price point. Instead people may still opt for the regular 17.

Im so torn between the Sage and Lavender... I love Lavender so much, but I watched some videos and it just looks almost white sometimes...the color is so washed out. While the Sage looks always green in every light. Oh the drama of decisions! 😫 lol
I like deep sea blue for iPhone 17 Pro Max. It looks premium. I was excited with but in case of orange and silver the portion under the camera is to light making it feel like someone has mounted a meg safe extra battery. In case of blue it isn't that prominent
I'm buying the 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max, and Air - to try all three, then going to pick a winner and return the other two.
Secretly hoping the winner is the Air, but I prob think that the bad battery life will just be too much of a turn off, especially coming from a 16 Plus with its massive battery life.

For me, if the base 17 could take RAW photos, it would be a no brainer
Worried about Air throttling or heat. Geekbench results are pretty much same as basic ip17 and less camera. Really comes down to form factor. Individual buyers decision.

Im happy the silver 17 PM is the least popular colour, less in the queue for it. Imo it's the nicest colour.
silver is safe choice. any reasons why you want a smaller phone? i am also torn if i should go max or regular pro. i don't like the feeling of big phones in my pocket. and a lot of pant pockets don't consider big phones in them. some pants have bigger pockets and some pants dont. i feel like i'd need a wardrobe makeover to accommodate a max-sized phone. and that is really my only qualm. everything else besides price is a plus for the max.Doing a downgrade this year.

Upgrading from a 16P in Silver to a Cosmic Orange 17 PM. I’ve complained for years about the Pros only being offered in boring colors so I’m definitely excited for something new.

Has anyone discussed the scratch potential on the new camera bump?
On my 15 Pro the bump is clear glass/plastic.
On the 17 Pro it looks like it’s directly the aluminium casing with paint finish. Furthermore the official cases and a lot of 3rd party ones expose that whole area.
I see the potential for a lot of scratches and the paint coming off. I’m wondering if silver is the best colour to avoid this because it’ll be closest to base aluminium.

I've had every max model since they started and went with 16 pro. I am going back to pro max and cannot wait until I get it.
