Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)- Thumbs up.

Kazmac, you ever heard of or even saw The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Miss Osbourne from '81 by any chance? Just stumbled upon that and it looks interesting and just got a good Blu transfer / re-release this year. Featuring Udo Kier.

Same goes for Buio Omega by Amato, you know that one? Shold be quite on the gory side..

Just asking since I'd like to get them but they're not on the cheap side (and Buio got a youtube release although I avoid those at all costs generally).

I liked it also. I know there are a lot of folks who didn't like the whole Khan retelling, but I was entertained none the less.

There was one part that I didn't like and that was Spock yelling out Khan's name.

*Edit, spelled the Vulcuns name wrong!*

I can't say that it was my least favorite of the star treks.... I haven't seen them all, but I thought that it was enjoyable. Especially for those who had not been previously a fan of the show. It was a nice entry point for lots of younger people.

Kelly's Heroes (1970)- One of my favorite WWII movies, according to this trivia page based on an actual gold heist perpetrated by American and German officers. The heist based on the value of gold in 1944 made the value of the gold $196m not, $16m. For those of you who play WoT, the Sherman's were real, the Tigers were modified T-34s made to look like Tigers. :D

A very good flick, great people in it. I'm watching 'Ronin' for the second time, not a bad movie and I do like a Model 1911 handgun.

Was watching the internship but fell asleep and woke up to something i'd rather not wake up to. Oh how I hate cinemax.

Just saw this again. It's almost impossible to see this and not be outraged. How people like Larry Summers and Alan Greenspan are allowed to go about their lives like they've done no wrong makes the blood boil.

Robocop (2014)- I don't care for the changes they made to the story. Lacking the Verhoven touch, which includes dark humor and hokey villains, not as good as the 1987 movie of the same name. Peter Weller still holds the title of best Robocop. Michael Keaton as the head of OCP, the evil corporation had Ronny Cox's (Dick Jones) big shoes to fill and failed to come through. One improvement was the ED-209 Mech which has always rocked, but even that could have been better when Robocop fights them. Available to watch for free on Amazon Prime.

I've liked all the Star Trek movies including the newest ones. I'm a sci-fi fan no matter what and I've always loved movies that deal with space travel and such.

The Longest Day (1962)- Outstanding Memorial Day weekend fare, the invasion of Normandy! :)
What's interesting is that it looks like several scenes were filmed on location. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056197/locations

Major Pluskat: Herr Oberstleutnant! The invasion has come! Five thousand ships, there - there must be over five thousand ships out there!!
Oberstleutnant Ocker: Now get a hold of yourself, Pluskat. The Americans and the British don't have half as that many ships all together.
Pluskat: DAMMIT, IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, COME UP HERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!! - That's fantastic! That's unbelievable! I-I just can't believe it!
Ocker: [chuckling] My dear Pluskat, what course are these ships heading for?
Pluskat: STRAIGHT FOR ME!!!
