Dated and cheesey. But as long as she is happy.

Magnificent Butcher (1979) Another Sammo Hung - Yuen Biao collaboration about students of a famous martial arts master who witness the abduction of one sibling's bride. As the students have to stand up for themselves against the abductor and his thugs, will justice prevail?

I like this film, but appreciate it more now that I recognize more of the folks fighting. My favorite fight doesn't include Sammo and makes me wish that Yuen Biao was Butcher Wing instead of Sammo. Yuen Woo Ping and Sammo deliver some great choreography and this particular fight is some of the most interesting close quarters Peking Opera styled fights I've seen.

Gandhi (1982)
Gandhi's character is fully explained as a man of nonviolence. Through his patience, he is able to drive the British out of the subcontinent. And the stubborn nature of Jinnah and his commitment towards Pakistan is portrayed.

Its long, but such a great film; I always enjoy it and the story.

Lucy (2014)- Styilized, visual thriller, takes an idea and runs with it. I liked it. :) My critique is that Lucy should have been involved more in the final conflict.
