Spoilers What Movie Are You Watching?

Rogue One looked like a Star Wars movie, with many original trilogy characters referenced and Easter Eggs hidden. Hopefully, that will be enough for fans, because the acting is wooden and the story is leaden. One thing that helps Rogue One from being a complete write-off is that there's lots of comedy - despite its dark pretenses, it has quite few laughs.

Do Luke and Leia get married?

Great movie. Lots of bits that die hard fans will notice that were totally lost on Mrs AFB.
Loved the recreation of some characters using CGI. Not going to say more than that!

Enjoy. I'll see it again for sure.

We never see highly anticipated films on their debut day or weekend. Monday for us. Fingers crossed it's not another episode 7. ;)

I hate spoilers, so for SW it's always opening night. For the rare time I see anything else at the cinema, I go late in the run so it's less busy.
Last film I went to the cinema to see before Rouge One, was Episode 7.

We really enjoyed Rogue One for the most part. My 11 year old liked some of the cross over stuff from the cartoons. My 7 year old likes Star Wars in general so he was excited just to see another Star Wars movie. I don't think either of them really appreciate the gravity of the story. I found it to be a worthy addition to the Star Wars canon and appreciate the depth it brings to the overall plot.

I will probably see R1 mid week now and even without reading the spoilers it should be no surprise how the movie ends.

Latest: Deadly Breaking Sword again this a.m. Caught a neat little costume wink in the end fight today, but this remains my favorite Shaw Brothers movie. I hope the current poster auction price doesn't spike so I can nab a second copy of the poster.

Die Hard (1988)- Now I have a machine gun, Ho Ho Ho. :D The breakout movie that made Bruce Willis a mega action star. It was It's A Wonderful Life or this as a Christmas movie last night. Is that sad? :p

Oh, how I wish we still had the down vote. That has to be one of the worst movie series ever. My boys love them. I leave the room if they are on.

Seriously, though, if you like them, enjoy!
i agree. but like you said, if you like them, more power to you...

...ya filthy animal!

Watched this with my youngest. Whoever invented Pan-n-scan vs letterbox is not my friend.

I assume you've seen fury road...and like it? :D

I liked the first one, but then they just tried to keep it going, but failed.

Will see Rogue One tomorrow afternoon. Trying to avoid spoilers even though I am pretty sure how it will end. That said, I am hoping that K-2SO is as snarky and anti-social as he seems in the existing footage. My kind of droid.
Tomorrow, R1!!
[doublepost=1482113018][/doublepost]Did anyone like the 2015 Whitey Bolger movie called Black Mass starring Johnny Depp? I might watch this.

ya the first one is awesome can't out my finger on it but the second movie in New York feels a bit of. Highlight being the massive hotel service bill for 1 week

Speaking of...
Fury Road (2015)- 90% adrenaline rush action, beautifully filmed, nominated best picture for a reason. Charlize Theron, Thomas Hardy, and great cast thumbs up! :)
