@Huntn mentioned The Right Stuff in a post over in "The Aircraft Thread!" and I hadn't watched that film in quite a long time, so I've been enjoying that tonight. It's a long movie but that never crosses my mind when I'm viewing it... only when I'm deciding if I can stay up late enough to the end or should start watching it earlier on another evening.
I was going through USN flight training when the book came out and was shocked at the death rate in 1950s US military flight training.

It's not really a movie. It's the entire third season of Avatar: The last Airbender. I made the mistake of watching M. Night shaywmatchucallits version. I'm trying to erase the memory of it. Hopefully.
btw
It is so cool to enjoy movies on weekends; much cooler is to watch the movies on a large screen lying down on the bed or sofa. Now, many movies online are in MP4 format, then read it to learn how to burn MP4 to DVD/BD by yourself. You can be assured that it is very easy to operate.

The Incredibles II - A great movie. Fun, entertaining, full of action, great jokes, and amazing characters. A well made sequel to an already well made movie. Great job by Pixar.

Special mention to Bao, the Pixar short-movie ahead of The Incredibles. An incredibly dark poignant story, full of meaning. For many it will be hard to hold back tears.

Saw Antman and Wasp this weekend. Good movie and a good sequel. Not the strongest Marvel showing but well worth the money and time to see. Can't wait to see Avengers 4 and get everything wrapped up.

Till you mentioned it I had forgotten about it and I agree, one of the better short stories. This one runs the gamut of emotions! I really liked it.

Saw it a few weeks and agree! Did those who stuck around for the end credit scene give a collective gasp when we the dust showed up! The theater we were in, it was pretty shocking and the audience responded to it as such.

1922 (2017)- Netflix original move, a farmer in Nebraska kills his wife (they said it in the preview) for a better life for himself and son, however this is a Stephen King story. Not the best SK, but watchable.

Blade Runner 2049. Huge fan of the original, cast, visuals, music, etc. Unfortunately, this movie just didn't do it. In the first we are left with the question from the book, which is basically "what is human?" With this one, you just wonder "where did two hours go?" I'll probably buy it and re-watch, assuming I'm just missing the big picture, but I don't think I'll find it.

Latest Jurassic something something doesn’t matter. I liked this one. Ronny’s daughter still can’t act, but she got to wear sensible shoes. I was sad we didn’t see Dr’s Grant and Laura Dern, but she’s probably tired from the Star Wars thing.
Most of the deaths were happy, the bad guys were even worse baddies, and plenty of jump-scares to be had. I still love little Blue. She’s really deadly.

My youngest son absolutely loved it.

Doctor Strange (2016) - love it. Cannot wait for the sequel.

All the Colours of the Dark (1972) solid supernatural tinged giallo.

Captain America Civil War (2016) - okay. I think Avengers Infinity War might overtake this because of Doctor Strange and Thor.

Singularity - dont waste your time, garbage. its like a terminator meets walking dead but without the zombies or terminator, same type of survival movie from robots taking over the world. it started off great but 30 mins in i took it off. for some dumb reason one of the actors (which he doesnt know how to act) all of a sudden started to have super human strength?? wtf??

Extinction - this was way better but guess what, almost at the end, they throw in a twist where the main character is a robot?? ruined the whole movie, it had the same story line from Singularity but with aliens and another thing, as it turns out they arent even aliens they are just humans trying to get rid of other humans, lame story line.

SideNote: im starting to notice a pattern, these so called Netflix "originals" movies look good, have good camera angles, alot of slow motion shots but the storylines are garbage. the only good 'original' netflix movie that i ahve seen that i can remember rite now is Bright, now thats a good movie.

I happened to watch that one last night, too. Like you I wasn't impressed at all.
