It was pretty good! The Vast of Night. It was recommended by a trusted NPR podcast or else I'd have never given it a shot.
I loved it. Perfect summer nighttime movie.

Worth the watch.Wow, I hadn't heard of this (and I spend a decent amount of time around various film sites). Just looked at the stellar reviews, and see it's available on Prime, thanks!
''They took me to hospital - I had spinal meningitis. They didn't have the antibiotics, so I went into a coma, and they tell me that for a few seconds, I died. I saw the blue tunnel, and I started going down it. I saw the white light. I dug my feet in.”
However, Donald was tempted for a second to stop fighting to stay alive. He added: ''I didn't want to go - but it was incredibly tempting. You just go, 'Aw, s**t man, why not?' ''
"I don't know sh*t about f*ck"...Do you watch Ozark? Julia Garner is pretty fantastic.

Completely agree. I started watching it but couldn’t finish it.![]()
That’s unfortunate, I thought the concept of the movie looks really good and the trailers were awesome. But if it’s ‘bad’ enough where it has to be turned off or you couldn’t finish it, that must really say something about the flow/messy plot. I do like Kristen Stewart as an actress, and I know this is one of her ‘come back‘ movies after her hiatus of acting.
Honestly? It's really not as bad as they're making it out to be. Is it the greatest movie ever made? No. Is it a cool movie that takes place underwater the whole time and has some cool supernatural elements along with some creepy, semi-claustrophobic horror vibes that is fun to throw on when you don't have anything else to watch? Yes.
It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen but I did enjoy it.![]()
I’m glad you did. It was unwatchable for me. But then movies by nature are very subjective. Like I loved inception and many I know, didn’t.

I too loved Inception!
Just watched the latest Chris Hemsworth movie on Netflix - Extraction. Was good. Entertaining.
I love that one too, and haven't thought about it for years. It was so well done, and likely because it was a passion project for Murray. Denholm Elliott was my favorite of that generation of British actors. Time to watch it again. Thanks for posting it.
