Watched this today. Vin is getting old (aren’t we all 😆), but I still picture him in his youthful days. The movie was ok, good twist in the plot as far as what is what, on the really high tech end, so many questions I could of asked, but didn’t. Ya just have to go with the flow.
Have you seen Ready or Not? Highly recommended (for fans of the horror genre, it's pretty subversive too, and funny).
I watched both the Hulu and Netflix documentary about it. I'd read about the fiasco as it was progressing, as well.
Looked this up, only available to buy. There was another movie from 2019, Dark Phoenix we wanted to watch and it too was just for purchase. I don’t buy movies I’ve not seen first.
I don’t demand a freebie, just a reasonable rental. Yeah, I had heard about Dark Pheonix, read the saga in the comics so I had high expectations to be dashed, already dashed once in X-Men 3. Jean Gray was not a psycho. 😬Hide and Seek is super smart, deconstructive to the genre, funny, dark, gory, but it’s probably worth waiting for a “freebie”, Dark Phoenix is __poop__.

Red Box comes through! Something I just realized, that you can reserve movies via the app instead of pot luck, show up at the vending machine with your fingers crossed.Ready or Not is (and I accidently changed names above, sorry about that ...) coming to HBO this month! It's also available at Redbox for $2, or if you sign up, they're constantly sending $0.75 - $1.25 discount codes (the latter makes a movie 75 cents plus taxthat's how we saw it)

Ready or Not (2019)- loved it!Wondering how I missed it in 2019?
I only like horror films with happy endings, even if they are bloody.I really wish she had gotten to use the elephant gun, since they showed promotional images of her with an ammo belt slung over her shoulder.

Redbox is a business model that I would assume is dying, at least the physical disk part of it. I see they are offering limited streaming, but honestly the only reason I resorted to a physical disk rental is because I’ve seen several 2019 movies that are only available to purchase for Streaming about $20, no way.Side tangent:
See, I thought they pulled Redbox machines due to C/19? (Not to involve any type of PRSI here), but in my area, they pulled all the Redbox machines because of cross-contamination. Anyways, in terms of movie rentals, I have spent a small fortune on Redbox, [mainly late fees😁], but I went ‘all digital‘ and never looked back direct from the comfort of my home.
Don't laugh at me for being compulsive, but I've now watched this movie four times in a week, to take in all of the clever nuances in the dialog. I thought I caught some inconsistencies in the screenplay, but on a careful re-watching it seems the writers had all of the details worked out to a T. There's hardly any part of the dialog that isn't hinting at what eventually makes sense.I recently rented the movie Predestination from 2014...
Such a good film. I recall having some of it on a tape we used to play in the car back in the day!
I used to have the OST too. Need to look for it again.Such a good film. I recall having some of it on a tape we used to play in the car back in the day!

I haven't seen the director's cut but I do like Wim Wenders' work very much. Solveig Dommartin was one of the leads in Wings of Desire as well. It's the soundtrack Until the End of the World that I still listen to, especially the U2 title song, and T-Bone Burnett's Humans From Earth.Until the End of the World

Very much an auteur film; to watch the full directors cut is best described as a commitment at close to 5 hours in length. The film is uniquely captivating, ebbs and flows beautifully, tremendously powerful soundtrack. This a journey for both the participant's and the audience, after all Until the End of the World...
Same as the film, if your in the right mindset you'll get it, if not you'll want to walk away, however if your in the right frame of mind Until the End of the World will blow you away and for good reason.
Forget the shorter version's, they will only serve to confuse and turn you off the film being disjointed and coming up lacking of what the film is really about.
