It's a more serious Oceans 11, or a much shorter MoneyHeist. However you want to look at it, you've seen it before, but it doesn't stop it from being highly entertaining.

TODAY BABY, 1 Hr 10 min to go:

Report to follow…
And after:

Movie gets a thumbs up although I’ll have to watch it again to decide if it is ownership worthy. :) Has a strong start, outstanding fight on a bus, gets a little muddled in the middle with multiple flashbacks for basically the simplest of plots as follows:

Shawn has a secret past happily living and working as a valet parking attendant in San Francisco. Both he and his sister are called home in a convoluted manner (lots of fighting being attacked, instead of an invite) to help his Father, leader of the Ten Rings rescue his diseased Mom, he believes is imprisoned in her parallel reality fantasy home land
:)

... I finally watched Falling Down last night. I really liked it
If you liked Falling Down, you'll probably like Unhinged. It's basically the same story (divorce instead of job loss), but for some reason, I found it much darker and more disturbing. With Falling Down, you could almost sympathize with the guy, not so with Unhinged.

Cold Mountain (2003)- A most dismal US Civil War story that portrays humanity in a dark light. That’s not saying it’s inaccurate, it’s just depressing how predatory, disgusting, and flawed human beings can be.

This is a good one. Although, it’s a bit long, drawn out, melodramatic in a lot of areas, but the climax point really builds towards the latter part of the movie, and Jude Law is just awesome in the film. There’s a really riveting scene with him (Law) and Natalie Portman, when soldiers attempt to infiltrate her home with her baby.

Being a love story, intertwining war elements, this was a really stout movie.

We saw it opening weekend and the entire family loved it. I recommend Shang Chi, "Or maybe..." (you'll understand after you see it).

Jolt (2021 Prime Video)- Kate Beckinsale plays a woman with physical talents and an anger management issue controlled by shocking herself. Low critic and audience score at Rotten Tomatoes, but I liked this, and so will you if you enjoy a high energy, humorous romp even if it is unrealistic as she kicks butt all over town. They were not going for realism. :D

And I think she broke her back in Vegas, had to be rushed to hospital. Surgery, etc... OUCH!

FYI, It’s actually Kate Beckinsale, not Cate. And I’m only pointing that out for clarity with two people sharing that name for reference of research.

But she’s a good actress, I’ll check this one out, looks interesting.

Fixed, and be warned the plot execution has been called stupid. I won’t disagree, but for some reason I am able to overlook the shortcomings of this movie. Beckinsale has a 🔥 presence. :)

The movie KATE (starring nobody named Kate or Cate) was another action flick starring a female ass-kicker. This one is much more bloody and graphically violent than Jolt, but just as entertaining.
