Agreed... I even liked part two! But then again, I like Paul Rudd. Dude always makes me laugh and Michael Pena freaking cracks me up in this role.

Ant Man 2 (2018)- Worthy sequel, for Avenger reference, ends with The Blip, which is interesting that this world shaping event is going on Africa and it’s completely off the radar in North America. ;) Ant Man 3? Feb 2023.

The Lost City. It's fun, stupid fun. Reminded me a little of Jumanji (the new ones, not the original) and Jungle Cruise, but I think those are still better. About 2 hours of entertainment, well paced, not boring at all, but very little rewatch potential.

Watched Dr. Strange and Multiverse of Madness...

It had it's moments, but overall I was disappointed in the film. I won't spoil anything right now since it is still relatively new... But the final act ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️

Not sure what's more disturbing; present today or the fiction, decide for yourself with this unconventional sci-fi film. Solid performance's all round, plenty of twists, very much one to watch, more so in 2022.

No phoning it home here, all do a top job of the portrayal of the dystopia & madness, bigger question is which one is which and what's the truth of it all...

Moonfall (2022)
Saving bandwidth LOL

A fun brain out film; don't think science. I didn't care for the ending as it writes off a key character as being a disposable father, a lesser to the protagonist which left a sour taste. Save your pennies and wait until it's free to watch...

That's the way I felt but I think it was mostly my own fault for getting excited over rumors and then feeling disappointment that they didn't happen - all in all I think it was better than most of their recent offerings. I'm completely meh about Shang-Chi and the Eternals and Black Widow could have been better. I like this one much better than any of those.

I liked Shang Chi up until the last act... Eternals... horrible. Black Widow, agreed.

  • Shang-Chi= ok
  • Eternals= barf ?
  • Black Widow= forgettable… what was it about? Now if you want to see a good movie in comparison, see Red Sparrow.
