Total nonsense of a move with recycled themes from previous films. Nothing original. But the dialogue is rather good and it is always fun to watch George Clooney. Bali is of course beautiful, but beauty alone isn't enough, at least for me. I lasted maybe 20 minutes on the beach before getting totally bored.

Enjoyable for visuals and for totally predictable storyline when you don't want to think.

This is a criminally underrated comedy. Have you also seen Stuber? Kind of a similar setup with the buddy comedy genre. I also really liked this one as well.

I think Dave Bautista is freaking funny. I pretty much like him in all of the movies I have seen in him. Just some of the looks he throws at the characters in this film cracks me up.

Thor: Love and Thunder- The wife is watching and I’m reminded of all the things wrong with it. I singularly hated Zeus, but I don’t blame Russel Crowe just the creative mind(s) who thought this was sooo funny, not to mention screaming goats. :)

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)- One of the best adventure films ever made despite some far fetched premises. It’s fairly easy to maintain suspension of disbelief. :D George Lucas got half credit for the story.
This is a great movie on many levels. Normally, I don't like watching movies over and over, but this one I can see repeatedly and always thoroughly enjoy. Well made and catches the attention every time.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)- Close second to Raiders. Story by George Lucas.

Little Harder watch and potentially the best in the OG series. Like it a lot as very entertaining. Most new films are garbage, don't understand why film makers are deliberately pissing off the majority of the audience.

As ever sales will tell and sadly cost will rise

Love this movie. The original... I also really like part III. Not to keen on Temple or Skulls.

Found this to be one of the better Marvel films. Characters weren't just cardboard cutouts. Dialogue was rather good, enjoyable after multiple listenings. Screaming goats were the only major problem I had, outside it being a Marvel movie.

I was vested in The Thor franchise which was on an upward trajectory, 3 movies and then this. Regarding personal qualities, my opinon is they trashed Thor’s for laughs. All of the God’s portrayed in this franchise had gravity until this outing, actually turned many of them imo, into cartoon characters. Botton line, a creative choice was made, and the viewer gets to vote thumbs up or down. So I’m happy to agree to disagree. :D

Quadrophenia (1979)

Once pulled over as a VP with a patched club, to help a couple on a scooter. Could see on their face they were expecting some trouble. Just said your on two wheels, we're here to help if you want. 20 minutes later they were rolling.

Admittedly did a fast pass, full throttle, no baffles on the VMax bikers being, bikers and all. VMax handled like a bag of angry cats, but by **** could it accelerate with some serious top end for an open bike. Very heavy, very unwieldly machine, but what authority it had on the road and man could that V4 bark...

Emily The Criminal (2022)- 👍 A woman with talent struggles with her life based on a DWI conviction trying to catch a break. I’m tempted to appraise the character in advance, but I think it’s better to see it for yourself.

Atomic Blond (2017)- If you are looking for some fantastic melee sequences with a killer female lead (Charlize Theron) wrapped in a good espionage story, involving double agents and a list of agent identities, look no further.

I’ve seen choreographed fight sequences, where the moves are made, but it does not look real, Hana comes to mind. The way this was filmed, wether it was a stylized technical effect or real physical output, Theron projects real force in every strike she delivers. It impressed me. And it could be James McAvoy’s best role.

ETCriminal was great!Really liked the ending. Same actress from White Lotus part 2.

Temple of the Skulls sucked hugely. Hey, there is a nuke about to go off, even though I’m an old geezer, I’ll jump in this refrigerator and be blown a mile or two, protected from the radiation, not locked in*, not scrambled in the landing, and I won’t get cooked either.

*Disclaimer
: I forget if the door of the fridge popped open on landing, allowing him to escape. :)

Yeah, ok, whatever. 🤔

Yeah very far from being the best of the series, although I have a feeling the upcoming 5th film will put it to shame with ease LOL...

A very weak and pale imitation of the original UK 1985 TV mini series which I strongly recomend. There are some clever role reversals, but little else of substance.

This is the one to watch...

Fully fleshed out, being a deep saga that builds & builds...

Pretty much... from that point on, I knew the movie was not going to be good!
