What pisses me off is that
EVERYONE DIES
😢

That is actually what I love about it. And thank god they didn't kiss at the end... I would have thrown my popcorn at the screen if they did that! It isn't a happy ending for our main characters, but as the Princess says... Hope!

Yes the ending gave the story gravity, but my reasoning is that there was potential for a series and I really liked this group of actors and could have tolerated 2 more movies with this quality.

Simple, sane and self gratifying but fun, entertaining with average cinematography.
More of a date movie than a movie that will stamp time.
anyone else directing would not get the nod!

Pacific Rim (2013)- If you like Transformers (large mechs) and Godzilla monsters, you’re good to go. CGI and visual dynamics are superb. Large creatures are entering this world though an inter-dimensional rift in the bottom of the Pacific intent on destruction. And I really enjoy the premise, that it takes two pilots to link mentally to run the machine an extension of themselves, the fight sequences, and the interpersonal relationships and conflicts, especially the two bickering scientists. Idris Elba is an on screen force. :D

I really enjoyed the movie, especially the action scenes. But I couldn't get the whole neural-link shared minds thing. I know it was a plot element but it didn't make sense technically.

Losing interest in this movie because the plot too jumbled for something too simple
and I dont care

I mean what isn't to like about this movie! Good stuff!

Watched Star Wars Rogue One the other night. Man, how I freaking love this movie... While the scene with Darth Vader is amazing, my favorite scene is the beach scene with our two main characters. Ugh!

Great movie! One of my favorite SW movies.

I watched Oblivion a second time:
Is a decent watch, personally not a fan of Tom Cruise as his films tend to be very formulaic. That said he's undoubtedly committed to deliver the best he can.

I enjoyed the recent Top Gun as production value are top notch, however felt it was yet another Tom Cruise vehicle. The original 80's film being a far more ensemble cast and more entertaining for it.

All of the God’s portrayed in this franchise had gravity until this outing, actually turned many of them imo, into cartoon characters.
RE: Thor: Love and Thunder

Hadn't thought of that. Yes, the Gods weren't that great but the dialogue and slightly more complex characters still made it one of my Marvel favorites.

Have you watched him in an older movie made in 2002, titled "Minority Report?"

I enjoy watching the newer Korean shows, but tonight I watched a romance movie at Netflix that is of outstanding quality in reference to filmmaking. Both leads are quite good, and the female lead is not only unusually pretty, but she does a wonderful job. Titled, 18 Pages.

Watching Edward Murphy in his first major film role in over a decade. Shame to see him out of the spotlight, as he was one of my favorite comedic actors growing up.
