Naturally - Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Again a superb film, doesn't quite capture the depth of feeling the first film generates. That said a must watch for fans of Sci-Fi or simply those with good taste in films.

Blade Runner is not solely entertaining, It's visual poetry at the highest level in the Sci-Fi, specifically the Cyberpunk realm...

Should we also partake?

I'm not a big Jonah Hill fan.
I’m only about halfway through it, but Jonah Hill is the main character, so I might skip it if you don’t like him. I didn’t like him back in his Superbad days. But he’s matured as an actor. Eddie Murphy is great in this thought, dropping n-bombs in his very first scene. But his character is still much more subdued than the Eddie Murphy we’re used to. This is more of a family drama than a slapstick comedy.

There's an edit button in the bottom left for this.

Currently watching the 1983 James Bond film Octopussy (which also came out the same year as the Sean Connery James Bond film Never Say Never Again). In my opinion, the most underrated Roger Moore Bond film.

that's 2 days 5 hours if you binge it ...
You have to dig deep to find that one 😊 no reason not to watch 😂 I don't watch obsessively I let the media server & SW do it's own thing right now...

Split Second (1992)

If you haven't, you should as you will be entertained, as for the professionally offended I could give two ****s. Is a good B rate film that doesn't take itself too seriously and pays off...

A tremendous movie that appeared to be over shadowed by the he’s so cute alien movie: E.T. The Extra Terrestial and possibly by Blade Runner although Blade Runner bombed at the box office.

Although the 1951 Thing From Another World is damned good for 1951 Scif horror, it completely blew off the vital element of the source material, the even older 1938 “Who Goes There?” story by John W. Campbell that focused on not knowing who you could trust, ie who has been assimilated.

John Carpenter’s The Thing was not only real horror, but Who can you trust? was a central aspect of the narrative and the Ennio Morricone's iconic score is the icing on the cake. :D

Note, at first I hated Blade Runner because it’s a dark film and I saw it at a drive-in with a lot of city lights, and crappy sound. Later I recognized it’s goodness. :)

With a compelling story, this is an amazing piece of cinematic art- BR2049. And amazing on a different end of the amazing spectrum: ;)

Mad Max Fury Road 2015
I walked into this the first time unaware that it was a 2 hour chase and was carried away. The choreography and cinematography are top notch that and great characters.

Very Emotional with Incredible cinematography and depiction of war.
should win the Oscar for best film, so far.
oh, Film debut of Felix Kammerer.

We really liked this film. I read a few articles before watching and they all commented on how the actor changed both in looks and emotions. Having known that before watching it, he really does and it is striking. The scenes are down right brutal and the last charge at the end. I am surprised someone didn't take him out just after he gave the order.
